Tottenham deserved the goal. They were putting on pressure, it was only a matter of time before they sccored.

Gardner was left so free. lescott did an appalling job giving gardner that much space.

I mean they've beaten London teams plenty when playing at home.
I thought you were only talking about away games when you first said that they've won 2 of their last 30 games against london sides. I knew that they wouldnt have only won 2 of their last 30 games against london sides at home.

Spurs defence is shit, but it's to be expected. 1st choice right back, sure, but 4th and 5th choice centre backs and 4th choice left back. Imagine if your team had to play the equivalents.

Which is why I never considered Spurs a Champions League team. They can buy all the forwards they like but keeping clean sheets helps you win too.

Spurs can't blame it on personnel. They conceded 19 goals more than the top 4 last season, with their first choice defenders playing. Twice as many goals as the top 3 by the way.

Well I think their first choice defence is pretty good. I question the goalkeeper still, but Chimbonda, King, Kaboul/Dawson and Bale is really strong.

Everton deserve to be ahead. Spur had one good spell when they were a goal behind, but once they scored they took their foot off the gas. Everton have played well, especially arteta. He set up the first one and hos crossed is basically what set up the second goal. When he crossed the ball, a defender cleared it but robinson dived because he thought it was heading tworads him, so osman almost had an empty net to shoot in.

Spurs are all over the place really. Their midfield is non existant. Malbranque is doing ok, but everyone else has been invisible. The strikers are getting no good support. Their defence is poor too. They've now lost kaboul, so they've got to use Rocca. Their defence was weaker before and its even weaker now.

I didnt expect tottenham to play as bad as they were against sunderland, but this performance is hardly an improvement.

DC United better go down tonight...
I dunno why but LA seems like a completely different team in Superliga. You know I'm rooting for ya man.

I like London but I have to hate on it because of familial origins. It's kind of like here in the States with the Los Angeles-New York rivalry.
Don't get me started on that...

Seriously is Bale their first choice left-back like the commentator said? Is he really that good? I find it hard to believe with no premiership experience but I don't know too much about him.

I dont know what spurs can do. At 2-1 they could have done something by just putting more pressure on everton, but at 3-1, they're pretty much screwed. As mama said, they've got to throw people forward if they want to get a goal and that could backfire on them because it allows everton to break and tottenham have got a very poor defence.

They've got no one to change the game. Defoe could come on, but whats he going to do that bent, berbatov and keane cant. They've also got routledge and huddlestone, but neither of them are going to make much of a difference. huddlestone is a defensive midfielder and routledge is a poor winger, but maybe they'll need to bring him on just so that they can have some width. malbranque isnt doing too badly, but keane's done fuck all really. I doubt its going to happen, I dont think routledge will be any more effective.

Yes, everyone wanted him. He's a bit of a Roberto Carlos, good defensively, but his strength is attacking down the wing. Great free kick on him too.

Routledge isn't that bad, I think they could do with him. And Huddlestone is defensive, but only in the same way Carrick is, he's an excellent passer of the ball so can create too.
