I'm not sure I'd say they don't like Izzy but there definitely seems to be some chemistry issues. The backs would kinda throw him to the wolves a couple of times today. :-/

From the interviews I've seen here in Sweden, he keep saying "We should have won that" or "I should play here". He keep going back to stuff that happened earlier this autumn, like the team loss, while Sven and the rest of the team keep looking forward. I can see that his negativity isn't liked by the team. He do awesome saves but doesn't seem to be thanked by his teammates (harde to judge on TV), he plays well but doesn't seem to be getting any players saying that in media (where Hart and Kasper kept getting praised by the teammates, they need confidence boosts as juniors of course though).
Richards is such a big friend with Hart that I almost could think that he passed the ball to Isak in tricky situations just to get him to screw up.
Richards and Dunne keep trying to tell Isak what to do too, I saw today how Richards played the ball back to Isak and then started to point towards Dunne hysterically.

But who knows, maybe they did that to Hart too, just to help team with options. The commentators had a point today though: "Why would Richards pass the ball back to Isaksson, he must have understood that he had the exact same options as Isaksson had".

Isaksson has always been the quiet type though, I just hope he isn't being mr Negative in the dressing room. If so, even though I've always been a fan of him, I'd say sell him and put Hart in goal. But I doubt this is the case, just makes you wonder when you see how well he playes on the pitch and still doesn't get any praise, except from Sven.

(Also, I must add that he didn't just say "BAH! We sucked so much earlier" in an interview, the journalist asked him to comment their latest games and he basically said "We should have won against team X, it was a poor performance")

Honestly I was starting to wonder a couple of times about this today. I really hope my gut was wrong. :-/

Winning > your mates!

I was "watching" the Fulham - Newcastle game with my eyes closed practically horizontal on my chair, and hear the commentator say "well, you can't blame her" or something like that. Crack my eye open to see some bird asleep in the crowd on her boyfriend's shoulder.

We aren't wrong.

I'm moving to the north-east next year, finally near some Premiership teams again, I think. Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. What the hell kind of choice is that? I'd be better off with Swindon.

Why do you torture yourself?

Er... lack of posting either means Mama commited suicide or bugger all has happened.

No goals? Not even one?

By the sounds of it, I'm surprised you haven't killed yourself yet, It's funny watching Newcastle, because we weren't that far off from following their decline as has beens as well when we let go of Houlier.

Granted we still live in the glory days of yore, and want to get back at the epitome of football, but Newcastle seem desperate success (i.e a trophy), so much so they hack off any manager that doesn't do the job instantly.

That's 6/6 now, 100% win ratio of the 4 "easy" matches 2 of which played, so it looks like Allardyce, is nestling safe in his job for now.

lol oh PSG, what are you doing. The look between the players are priceless. Defender goes "OMG! What are YOU doing", while goalkeeper goes ".... right". Elmander says thanks though.

Oh man that's a classic blunder.

I can't believe how bad PSG is doing the last couple of years. Seems like they're continuously fighting against relegation when they should be challenging Lyon for the title.

Anyone else think the girl from Same Difference on x-factor looks like Hermione?

(I'm not talking about the football today. All the scores were ridiculous)

What really sucks is that they might have the best looking jersey in the world. They have to stay up, just so I can see it more often.

He could have been a real Arsenal legend. He was halfway there but greed, bad advice, avarice, a plethora of lies and downright mercenariness tainted him forever with Arsenal fans. His subsequent biography in which he complained that he wasn’t applauded the same way Thierry was on the last day at Highbury proved he was living in a fucking dream world. To me he sums up everything that’s wrong about the modern footballer, disloyal, dishonest and absolutely unwilling to accept any responsibility for his own actions. Whatever stick he gets tomorrow will be well and truly deserved, the poxy little cunt. I also hope Sagna tears him a new arsehole during the game too.

Perfectly stated.

Valencia - Barca starts in 15 minutes. I hope Koeman gets a good assraping. The way he left PSV wasn't exactly nice.

EDIT: Ronaldinho on the bench, Rijkaard starting with Messi, Gudjohnsen and Eto'o. Henry's not part of the selection, is he injured?

I find she's very attractive, it was hilarious when they were trying to build Hope as full of sexy vixens like Girls Aloud but all of Hope are like 'munters' I believe is the word and she's effortlessly pretty.

I must admit I despise the X-Factor and any everything it stands for but my fiancée always has it on. :(

(I'm allowed too, we play tomorrow)

Henry is out indefinitely

I hope the injury is not career ending

I see. You know, I never really understood why Barca wanted Henry. I mean, he's a brilliant footballer, but Barca have Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi, Gudjohnsen and supertalents like Krkic and Dos Santos. I just seemed like overkill.

I guess Barca expected Ronaldinho or Eto'o to leave.

Henry's injured "indefinitely", which is...worrying. Well, not for me, I couldn't care less, but for Barca fans.

I'm surprised Gudjohnson gets the nod ahead of Ronaldinho, Krkic or Dos Santos, unless the latter 2 are out as well.

Barring injuries, one more change to my fantasy team next week and I'll be happy. And then after the January sales I'll probably have to start all over again to get the player I want.

Ronaldinho is all but gone if you believe the rumours. And it's not his choice apparently.

But it's going to happen in the summer rather than now.

Krkic and Dos Santos are on the bench alongside Ronaldinho. Barca is all over Valencia.

Has there been any new news on Arsenal's injuries? I'm pretty sure we're gonna need to be at full strength tomorrow.

EDIT: Goltv commentator's are saying Henry should be available for Barca's next game, against Real.

I hope so...initially this had been the original timeframe.

Next weekend also features the Milan derby, so we've basically got nine days featuring four of the sexiest matchups you can get in European league football. And of course the Champions League knockout draw is on Friday, which should produce a few amazing matchups (I'm 90% sure Arsenal and Barca will get paired up, it's almost written in the stars).

BTW, how's Blackburn gonna play the Carling Cup game with us Mama? Field a first string team like West Ham and Everton did, half and half, or do an Arsenal and just field 9 year olds?

The Valencia - Barca score doesn't surprise me the slightest, Valencia couldn't parachute into a Uefa spot.

Hopefully the stars think the club is going backwards, so we can poach Joaquin.

er...he's still at Valencia right?

Joaquin? You know how awesome that would be. AMAZING AWESOME

It's hard to say. So far we've put out a half and half against Birmingham, then mostly a first team with a couple of changes against Portsmouth...if we were still in Europe and doing better in the league, I suspect you'd face weaker opposition, but it wouldn't surprise me to see us go out there full strength.

Then again, in central midfield we keep making changes anyway. Tugay, Dunn and Mokoena didn't play today, but they have been recently, so they might come in just because Hughes thinks they would play better against Arsenal. Ooijer and Roberts/Derbyshire might get chances as well.

It'll be a strong side, we're a small squad with an average youth system, we can't really put out anything else.
