I'm calling it now. Giles Barnes to Villa in January. It'll be exactly like the Ashley Young purchase last year.

What a coincidence it's my birthday today too. Guess that cancels out your mojo, Lakitu.

Happy Birthday, but I still want Liverpool to win. Can't be having 5th place City with such a high points total.

Yes, we beat NAC 2-0 (Koevermans and Perez) with Ajax drawing 2-2 against Excelsior and Feyenoord 1-1 against Heerenveen.

We're number one again. :D

Thanks for the Birthday wishes.

Karakand, Happy Birthday, but it's a shame Manchester City won't be able to give you a present today :(

I'm watching one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen right now because I like the title, Zombie Honeymoon, and the main girl in it is pretty good looking with a nice rack.

Happy Birthday you two!

I think part of the problem with Petrov is that the offense is skewed to the left side because a real threat on the right wing hasn't revealed himself this season. When you're a one-trick pony it's easy to get shut down.

I think if the right side gets fixed we'll see a lot more performances like last match from him.

That's smart thinking, and could totally be true. I don't see Castillo as a lone striker, and even though he isn't a trained RM, he gotta play somewhere. And he probably won't steal Elano's place. But the Castillo-position-discussion has taken place a couple of houndred times already.

Also, Jon Bovi should be back soon. You always completely forget about him, I hope he's what we expect him to be.
Damn, I so want Moutinho as RM now.

:lol it's really not my birthday today! I might've been conceived today (September baby) but we don't get prizes for that (probably because half our mums don't know for sure when it happened).

I'd still like to end the year in a CL place though! Be a nice bookend to the year... looked like relegation in January, looks like continental competition in December.

Well, Young was excelling, Barnes is...doing ok.

It really is horrible watching your team let the opposition stay in it when the game should have been put to bed long before. Oh well, still won, and probably played better than Newcastle or Liverpool did against Derby recently. With Sunderland, Bolton and Middlesbrough coming up, I'm hoping for a good little run.

I was looking at pictures from the initial summer signings a couple of days ago for a new avatar and when I saw Bon Jovi I was like, "who the heck is that?!?" :lol

Isn't that foreign money great!

It's like my childhood dream of marrying prince charming and being whisked away to a better life happened.

Except my prince charming is a deposed foreign leader with well-documented human rights violations. And he has a wife already.

Well sometimes life throws you a curveball.

DirecTV just called, they'll be here at 11:30, so right about the start of the second half.

Actually that's not fair on Arbeloa, he's been played out of position since we first signed him, and played great regardless, I think Centreback was his position before we signed him so we'll see.

My problem with Mass Effect is that it feels artificially lengthened. (e.g. all that pointless driving on planetsides) It's like an MMO, but without 45 year old men trying to tell me they're 17 year old female goddesses. The menus are also atrocious. That said I'm still probably going to play through the entire thing and beat it, hopefully before the New Year.

As for AC, I want to like it because I'm a major history dork but it has the same length problems for me. I'd much rather play a shorter game that was perfect from beginning to end than a longer one that had several nadirs.

I haven't got to that point of Mass Effect, but I doubt I'll hate it as I love exploring and exploration in general. I haven't started Mass Effect till now as I guessed I would be on it forever which seems likely. :lol

I spent 20/30m creating my character which looks exactly like me (but without glasses)

I've come to the conclusion that my head is quite large. :(

Assassin's Creed doesn't have much filler, later on one of the memory blocks you can skip the kingdom, some find it repetitive though with most activities being the same but I didn't I just loved it. :)

Also happy birthday to both clowns \o/

and I was out on Fantasy Rafa by ONE, fucking one, some reason I thought Alonso was playing. :(

City had a couple of good chances.

I'm watching this match, never seen them play a full game this season and I want to see what all the fuss is about.

Sloppy defending by Lollorrofl.

What' with the second class keepers in the EPL topteams:
Chelsea - Hilario (ok, Cech's injured)
Man United - Kzsuszak (ok, Vd Sar is injured)
Arsenal - Almunia
Liverpool - Reina

You'd expect bigger names in the goal for those teams, really.

Reina is not a second-class keeper. He is probably Spain's second best keeper (after Casillias).

Gerard has always been an overrated player.

Kind of like Tim Henman, the media portray him as some demi God but the guy has never won a major tournament in his career :lol :lol :lol

Arbeloa instead of Hyypia isn't really working for Liverpool so far, it seems.

Had: He did?

EDIT: I see. Somehow missed that.
