Grapple hook the tower/column thing to the left of the entrance (facing Hyrule town), drop down, then use the spinner on the rails there and jump out about halways through.Conrad Link said:Btw, theres a chest outside the castle town its in like a fountain - around the area where that Goron and the boulders are and sometimes the bug girl is out there..... how do you get that chest?

I didnt mnean to say that they should make an MM rip-off. I want to see Nintendo create a zelda thats different to the traditional zelda games, just like MM was. I'd love to see a zelda game set in an environment thats completely different to any zelda game that we've seen, along with new characters. The fighting and equipment system has worked really well, but even that should have a few changes made to it. I do enjoy playing the traditional zelda games like OoT and i do hope that Nintendo keep making them, but Id really appreciate seeing a different type of zelda game.Mato said:I didn't mean to say they should make a MM rip-off. God no. I meant to say it should be equally original and inventive, as MM was to OOT, in which case it would a fresh new experience and also quite a different game from MM yet retain some of the Zelda legacy.
And I'm not talking just about names and story either. I'm talking about core gameplay elements in the same way that OOT introduced the day/night thing and playing the ocarina and MM gave us the three day, flexible limit and complex daily routines for the characters (and many more). The biggest letdown with TP is that it gives us no such new core element. Everything is scripted, nothing is flexible in the same way that the ocarina was. Come to think of it the ocarina was one damn powerful object.
Yeah, the effort you had to go through to get that chest was weird, considering that you found Heart pieces in like trees and stuff that didn't require any effort to get at all.keanerie said:Figuring it out was awesome, though. Though that one really warranted a heart piece.

effzee said:Hey guys a little help here, I'm in the 5th dungeon and I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do now. I've done everything except the puzzle with the blocks on the ice and the part where there is a snow monster on the stairs blocking me from going up. I still haven't figured out how to do the ice puzzle with the large blocks, so I'm completly lost as to what I'm suppose to do.
Also I asked for the ice block puzzle earliar and I still don't get it. I have 3 blocks and I can't arrange them to press the button on the ground.
Ok I've been trying it for a while now, I have the three blocks and I've tried all the different ways of doing it. Am I suppose to get another block somewhere?Beezy said:You have to do the ice puzzle. You won't be getting any further in the dungeon until you do.

Zilch said:Yeah that was a tough puzzle.
If those blocks are in the position you put them in earlier in the dungeon (one on the button, the other right near it), push the one that's on the button across so it slides over the second button. Then push the third block down and across so that it gets stopped by block #2... now you should be able to push #3 up so that it goes over the second button and is stopped by block #1. Then just repeat what you just did with block #3 with block #1 and that block will hit the second button and be stopped right on the button by block #3. Puzzle solved.

Why was Midnalooking so evil when she formed the helmet from her hand? How did she have that power? Is it evil? What?
I am very confused.

It could work, but it would have to be done very carefully. You are essentially playing a character whose every move is evil and wrong and you have to identify with him, or at least feel some sympathy.sphinx said:Everything looked gorgeous in the game but Midna and Ganondrof stroke me as the most charismatic of the whole group of main characters.
Now my main question?
Am I the only one wanting a Ganondorf spin-off game?
I'd like to see how he acted as king of the gerudos, I'd like to see his own castle, his own black horse, his army, HOW he gained the power of the gods, how many hazards does the people of his race had to endure, How he got respect from everyone. There is plenty of material with that guy.

I can only think of a few movies and books where this has worked, and only one game that had this to some degree, SotC.

But is it something you think is missing from the Wii version? Or in other words, would you miss it if you replayed the Wii version now?
