Eli has defeated the media loveboy Romo, the Legend Favre and now faces the God Brady

*cue dramatic music*

Complete the trilogy Eli!

I can imagine a Star Wars Parody poster will be made upon completion of the Trifecta by Eli.

If I had any artistic talent, I would.

Man I cannot believe this, all those horrible seasons, 4-12, 6-10, the collapse last season... having kept the faith after those years makes it so much better. :D
You're talking like its been years since they had success in playoffs. Did 7 years really go by that slow?

You'd be surprised. That 49ers game (damn you Garcia, damn you) was one of the worst sports moments in my life, until the 2004 ALCS of course. Besides, I purged 2000 from memory after that disaster of a Super Bowl.

At least this time we aren't expected to have a chance, so no matter what happens I can't really complain!

I'm shocked that Peter King didn't even mention this play in his column today. Is anyone talking about it? It's simply jaw-dropping. Faulk's diving catch and Pierce's ridiculous stop were the two biggest, most impressive plays from Championship Sunday.

Look at that! It's insane!

I mentioned this a lot earlier. Those two plays were clearly the best. What that gif doesn't show is that downfield there were two lineman and the only giant in the area was a corner who was being blocked. Pierce doesn't make that play, the game could be completely different.

Again, you guys looking at it all wrong. If LT wasn't capable of helping his team win, then I admire him for being man enough to put his ego aside and to let his backup try to win the game. It's not noble to gain 2 yards per all game just to say you did it. You play...to win.. the game! Herm.jpg

The coaches and LT shouldn't have even bothered having him dress. As it was, they wasted a roster spot and, more or less, threw away the opening drive.

:lol :lol A wasted roster spot? Who the hell were they going to sign off the practice squad to replace LT?

Anyone else want Bradshaw to start? Maybe a Mission Impossible style Tynes mask for Morten Anderson?

They Bring him in the second half to make The Patriots' Eventual defeat all the more humiliating! Remember, Bradshaw wasn't there in the first matchup! He is the key!

He was there for the first matchup.

And hell yes 7 years is long removed from the Super Bowl. Ask Rams and Ravens fans how they feel.

There is a god and I am just now emerging from my 40 years in the desert.

Warpaint Illustrated has confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs have filled the majority of the assistant offensive coaching positions. Here’s the rundown on the new staff.

WIDE RECEIVERS – Karl Dorrell

After five seasons as head coach at UCLA, Dorrell was fired in December. He has previous NFL experience as a wide receivers coach from three years in Denver, where he helped Rod Smith and Ed McCaffery develop into one of the best receiving tandems in the league. The pair combined for 201 receptions in 2000. Dorrell is also credited with helping Charles Johnson and Michael Westbrook flourish at Colorado in the early 90s.

Have fun PantherLotus. Have fun.

Um, you do realize that every team has players on an active roster that don't dress for games, right? You don't have to sign anyone off the practice squad.

Here were the Charger players not active for the game: QB #3 6 C.Whitehurst, K 16 D.Rayner, CB 24 C.Gordon, CB 25 P.Oliver, LB 53 A.Waters, WR 80 M.Floyd, TE 87 S.Chandler, DT 91 B.McKinney

If just one of them got in on one or two plays, maybe on special teams, or even if they just showed some enthusiasm on the sidelines unlike Mr. Pouty, they would have been an improvement.
