This was supposed to be OUR week to get some shine..Now The ****s at Sportscenter and NFL Live will spend half of the show talking about how Parcells gave the Colts their first loss...

I wanted them to lose today though. They need the undefeated distraction out of the way plus I am also a TO/Romo/Cowboys supporter and a loss here would have killed their playoff hopes :D

Is it possible to throw for 500 yards and not only score less than 21 points, but lose in doing so?

YES!
 
Coaches can't wear suits or what? I heard it mentioned that the NFL 'let' him wear the suit today to honor his dad.

I don't understand why coaches wouldn't be allowed to dress like that, it looks good. It looks prefessional/Classy/old school. Unlike say...that sloppy bastard in New England.

Coaches are "required" to wear official NFL gear, such as parkas, sweatshirts, etc.

I wish they'd let them wear suits, looks much more professional and classy.
 
Saint Jason was sexcellent in his debut, just not quite sexcellent enough. He follows the word of Brady though, so he's only gonna get better. But im a man of my word, since he didn't dominate, staminate and discombobulate quite like i expected, someone provide me with my new avatar.


and as much as i hate the Niners, Nolan is a badass in that suit. The NFL are pathetic. They won't let a guy wear a suit (and he wants to do it as a tribute to his father, as well) but they let Bill Belichek dress like a hobo.

Ugh I fell asleep. Did they say anything on FNA about how they suddenly have a worthless game next week? :lol
 
great win by the niners. seattle had no business being in this game, but we let them hang around. our offensive and defensive line completely dominated them. we need to fix our redzone offense. this should have been a blowout win (just like last week and against MN), but it ended up being a nail biter. oh well, a win is a win. now we are only a game out of first. if only the rams had beaten seattle last week we would be in first place all alone right now.

with that said, the real test is going to be our game IN seattle. we have always had a tough time there and it will be a good measuring bar for us. but right now i'm going to enjoy this win and our 3 game winning streak and rejoice that we are alive and well for the playoffs.
 
Welp, that pick 6 means I don't have to stay up to watch this finish at least:) Gonna be a late night tomorrow, probably going to swing a seat for the whoopin' of Coughlin:)

Like I said last week, Alexander's TD record will likely be beaten this season by LT. Dude has 22 on the season already by my count... in the tenth freakin game. :|
 
Arrrgh Seneca really stunk it up today. Those turnovers really killed the Hawks. Nice job to get to 500 for the season.

21. The passing touchdown doesn't count for the record. At the pace he's on, he'll top thirty of course so it won't really matter.


Damn he's good.

I wasn't counting the passing touchdown. 16 rushing, 3 receiving, and then the 2 rushing and 1 receiving today = 22. I did not count the passing TD by mere oversight, but why wouldn't it count towards his total?

What's Alexander's record, 28? I don't see him not breaking that record unless he is injured.

He better not accept the Madden cover next year...I like LT a lot, and he is the has the best chance to take the all-time rushing lead from Emmit Smith, something that would make me very very happy--I don't want to see anythign happen to him..:(

The passing TD doesn't count because the record is touchdowns from scrimmage, passing touchdowns are separate in the league totals.

Also, LT only had two receiving touchdowns coming into this game. So he's up to 22 after this most recent score.
 
It felt great hearing Gore's name mentioned among Tomilson's, Johnson's, and Barber's as the four guys dueling for the rushing title..

Nameless: I told all my co-workers he would have a monster year before the season started. No one wanted him in their fantasy leagues... Glad I am right. ;)







*But oh so wrong on Daunte Culpepper. I guess it balanced out!
