also to maynerd, what say you now? thought you said we weren't dick and were living on our past? i don't think we are a great team, but we went to town on your overrated squad early and often today. i suppose you can make the excuse that you had a backup qb playing, and alexander just got back, but that doesn't explain both of your lines being demolished all game long.

Seneca wallace played like shit. The defense couldn't tackle. We brought in babinaux in replacement of boulware a couple of weeks ago and that dude got ripped to shreds. The hawks killed themselves more than losing to the 49ers. But hey good win. Your running back blew us up! We'll see what happens when you come to our house.

I havent' been around much due to the release of the Wii playing videogames more than posting! Anyways good job 49ers. We shall have our revenge in a few weeks.

The Steelers win 2 games and you grow a sac again and start talking shit to everybody in ear distance. Marvelous.
Not really. The Steelers are not a good football team this year (though the Ravens had problems against the Browns as well).

But you gotta step up your game when a division opponent is concerned. That is all Steeler fans have to look forward to this year.

your defense didn't have a choice whether to tackle or not because Gore was owning you left and right. if we win out in the division (@ sea, @ stl, vs. az) we have a great shot to win the division. the true test begins now niners fans!

Tell me about it, when the professional sports writers were like and the Ravens have the easiest second half schedule %-wise, I was like bullshit, 4 of those games are division games, those percentages don't mean shit! Nobody in our division likes each other!

I'm gonna have to agree with Nameless and EAJapan. I was just telling a coworker that I was waiting to see the Lee Evans receptions and they just never came on. So what if it is Houston and Buffalo, they still have fans out there.

I was there in person and let me tell you, I really didn't want to see that again. Just poor coverage, a perfectly thrown ball and 83 yards later, people are thinking about leaving the game in the first quarter. It ended up being a great game, but of course the Texans **** it off.

As far as ESPN no longer doing Primetime, the thing I have heard is that it was part of the NBC deal. NBC promised their version of Primetime and ESPN had to kill the original so they wouldn't have any competition. I agree that the Blitz sucks, but ESPN had no choice in the matter. That is what a guy from ESPN said in an interview anyway. Makes sense, though I don't like it.

Also another boneheaded ref call (overturning the right call, no less) against the Jets this week.

If your speaking of the Jones fumble, your probably right. But that said, that boneheaded call evened out with the boneheaded call on Kruetz on a 20 yard 1st down pass, that stopped a drive that was looking like it was headed for points. Bottom line was the Jets couldn't score on the Bears defense even if they got that fumble.

The Steeler special teams are just awful. Gotta be worst in the league or close to it. I cringe when I think about Sams facing them. They might as well just kick every ball out of bounds and hope for the best.

ESPN's lackluster NFL coverage on Sundays has nothing to do with ESPN, and everything to do with the exclusivity deal NBC demanded. NBC has the rights to a Sunday night highlight show, thus ESPN is forced to put their highlights within Sportscenter.

Yeah it does. Those games that we gave away early on against the cardinals and eagles really hurt now. If we don't have some sort of lapse we should be beat both the Cards and Pack at home. We SHOULD be STL if our team doesn't come in over-confident due to our recent success, and recent dominance over the rams. Going to Seattle is going to be tough, though.

I think to help our chances the Cards needs to beat the Seahawks, and we must beat the Rams, because if we end up with the same record as the seachickens it goes to common opponents, so this would still leave the door open for the playoffs if we were to lose at Quest field.

But we're a lock if we win those 3 games we should + beat the Seachickens, as I don't see the Chokes beating either ther Broncos or Chargers. That would put as both at 9-7 with us sweeping the season series.

The fact that primetime comes on a day later and Boomer and TJ are now pasted on Sportscenter is not the issue. Watch Primetime today, watch how long they spend on Dallas vs. Colts, Chargers vs. Broncos, and Bears vs. Jets, and on McNabb As I said each game should get 2-3 minutes worth of highlights and let be that. Instead the games I mentioned will get 3+ minute highlights, and then they'll spend another 2+3 minutes atleast talking about them afterwards. Then watch as the lower games get 15 seconds tops.

Its to the point where I have to hunt down in-depth highlights on the internet to actually see what went down each week, as ESPN ignores 50% of the weekly goings-on.

Wooo! Got a ticket to the game tonight when my friend got sick, lol. Get to watch Eli Manning Bleed in person. Let's go Manning Face!

Aw man, who will I talk trash to.

And who will say RASHEEEEAAAAN! when he gets his two picks tonight? :(

Hey I'll be pimpin' my Rashean jersey tonight at the game. I'll be pale white guy in Mathis jersey in upper deck.

Extra added bonus: No need to listen to Theismann!

stupid east coast media bias.

You're joking here, right? NFL coverage is probably the only one in professional sports where there's almost no "east coast bias". (Though I will admit the NFC East gets way too much press relative to quality of teams.) Hell, they're talking about the Niners on ATH right now.

You should bring a giant sign that just says AAAAAAAAAAGGGG

You mean the fumble that was clearly a fumble or at the very least close enough to a fumble to not overturn the initial ruling of.....fumble?

Yeah, that did suck. After that Browns fiasco though, nothing surprises me anymore.

The Cowboys’ 21-14 win over Indianapolis on Sunday, televised on CBS, was the highest-rated NFL game on any network this season.

Tony Romo passed for 226 yards and Marion Barber rushed for two touchdowns as the Cowboys upset the previously unbeaten Colts, who were on a nine-game winning streak, in front of a crowd of 63,706 at Texas Stadium.

The game scored an overnight household rating/share of 15.8/29. The game, which CBS Sports protected under the new NFL flexible scheduling, out-rated Sunday’s San Diego-Denver game, which was moved to prime time on NBC, by 52 percent (15.8/29 vs. 10.4/16).

The Cowboys host Tampa Bay on Thanksgiving Day. Kickoff is 3:15 p.m. on FOX

sucks for nbc. they scheduled Eagles-Colts next week

TAMPA, Fla. -- Andre Waters, a defensive back who spent most of his 12 seasons in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Monday. He was 44.

RIP dude

I am surprised at how little coverage the Steelers comeback against the Browns received. I understand neither team has much of a shot of making the playoffs, but the 4th quarter of the game was one of the best this year.

gore is going to go for 250+ and 4 td's

3 of our 5 starters on the o-line are on IR now. we have a LT playing LG. a guy we just signed 5 weeks ago playing LT. a LG playing Center.

against that panthers d-line. everyone knew what could happen. but linehan chose to came out and throw 40+ passes and run 7 times. we were only down by 1 possession for 90% of the game. theres no excuse for that shit. he needs to be fired.

I think the Rams should definitely fire Scott Linehan and Jim Haslett, and then they can have Chuck Bresnahan. We'll take Haslett off your hands! I know he's pretty overrated, but he can't be worse than that fatass.

haslett's had some WTF moments, but overall hes been decent for what he's working with. we need better talent evaluators. scott linehan has premium offensive talent, and he's running it into the ground by making bulger a "dump-off" qb

It's time to start worrying about draft position. Team with a worse or same record than the Viqueens, and their QB situation:

Washington - Jason Cambell future.
Packers - Aaron Rogers future
Detroit - Need a QB
Tampa - Simms future? Nah, they need a QB.
St. Louis - Bulger now, who's the future?
Arizona - Leinart future
Buffalo - Need a QB
Miami - Need a QB

Pittsburgh - Need a QB!
Cleveland - Frye future?
Houston - Carr for a while atleast
Tennessee - Young future.
Oakland - Need a QB.

That's 4 team plus the Vikes that are going to be looking at Quinn, Brohm, and TSmith. I like our chances!

Holy shit. Frank Gore is only 2 yards behind the NFL's leading rusher Larry Johnson and has like 60 less carries. CUT MICHAEL ROBINSON :lol

edit: I have a feeling no QB in next year's draft will be starting in 2010.

Considering that they passed on Leinart, and that Losman is improving I don't think Buffalo will draft a QB. I think Detroit will give McNown a shot if they decide to no longer commit to Kitna--especially with Martz and Millen around. Roethlesberger is the new Vick, no matter how bad he sucks, the Steelers "cant" get rid of him.

I think the VIkings should have no problem scoring Quinn, Brohm, or Smith..

mike nolan's suit is so much more badass than jack del rio's suit

edit- can ESPN not fill up the pregame show? They're repeating their story of "Ballin"
