Get the **** out of here with the cheap shot stuff. Your ****in team had two early leads in that playoff game and still you got your ass beat. **** Palmer and his glass knee. I've never seen a bigger bunch of clueless babies. And they talk about sore losers? Even bigger than the Seababies you guys are. Pathetic.

So that's why we lost today, coach?

welp, niners game is over and the better team won. a few things about the game as i saw it:

1. our offense is legit. after the first 3 drives we took it to the eagles "awesome" defense. alex missed some easy throws early, and of course the gore fumble (14 pt swing).

2. our defense seems to give up lots of points early and then settle down.

3. donovan mcnabb is such an overrated bitch. i get 70% of his hards were little dump offs/screens to his RB. not saying the RBs didn't earn it but wtf his stat line looks decent because of that

4. eagles vaunted pass rush was a joke. their first sack came late in the 4th when we HAD to pass.

5. ****ing bullcrap call when we were down 21 early in the 4th on that deep pass to bryant that got us inside the 10. where was the holding on robinson?

6. we should have passed more. clearly the eagles secondary is the weak point of the defense and the plays were there to be had.

7. alex smith looking better and better each week. he made some awesome plays in the game, escaped the pressure a lot, and his throws (after the 1st quarter) were on the money. still no interceptions thrown!

8. Eagles almost let this game slip away just like last week. i guess it's human nature to kind of relax but damn

anyhow the difference between the two teams is experience. eagles have veterans at key positions and a group that has been together for a couple years. we have new people on both sides of the ball and we are pretty young.

p.s. cb PM me your address chump!

I would be willing to bet we had the younger team out there today.

Edit: You have veterans at key positions too. They just arent very good.

Simms spleen removed :lol

What happened to Bledsoe when he got hit and launched Brady's career as the most overrated QB ever? I heard he almost died.

Simms had his spleen removed and a blood clot removed. He is no longer in danger.

Wow... get well man. Considering the hits he's taken each week I can't say I'm surprised.

at key positions? we had a 2nd year QB, 2nd year RB, 4 people on the o-line with less than 3 years experience, a rookie TE, 3rd year #2 WR, etc.

but my point wasn't experience in the league, but being together as a team as well. our coaching staff is in its 2nd year, a lot of our players are young or are in their first or 2nd year with the team. whatever though no excuses. too little too late. we need to start showing up in the first half so we don't have to try these ridiculous comebacks.

Best wishes to Simms

Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms had his spleen removed at a Tampa, Fla., hospital after rupturing it in Sunday's 26-24 loss to Carolina, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports.

Simms

According to a source close to Simms' family, the quarterback's condition has been stabilized after surgery, during which he received blood transfusions.

It is thought the injury occurred in the second quarter. Simms took several hard hits and left the game for two plays in the second half but returned to help the Bucs take the lead in the fourth quarter.

Simms also has bruised ribs. He is being treated at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Lisa Patterson, a spokeswoman for St. Joseph's Hospital, said any other information would have to come from the Buccaneers, who declined to comment or confirm that the fourth-year pro was being treated a few blocks from Raymond James Stadium.

Simms walked from the field on his own power late in the third quarter and again at the end the game, which Carolina won when John Kasay kicked a 42-yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining. He completed 13 of 24 passes for 139 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Simms usually is made available for postgame interviews, however the Bucs said he would not speak to reporters because he was being examined by trainers and doctors.

Can't help it if you guys can't get accept the gift the Steelers handed to you today. :D

Oh I take it with open arms. Too bad you couldn't take the Bengals!

It's a little early for either of us to say we will win the division. I'm just happy we won.

PS: If a cheap shot helps bring our season to an early close, I won't whine this year. :D

Yeah... And "If Carson would have been healthy, we would have won the playoff game"... ... ... ... .. ... Nope. Saying these things doesn't make us feel any better. We were losers. Now you are. Get over it.

how about the next drive when michael robinson absolutely destroyed brian dawkins and sent that stupid bitch to the sideline and out for the rest of the game? :lol
I would love to see a youtube of that. The great Dawkins getting his ass laid out by an ex-qb, sounds awesome.

Edit: Simms is one tough SOB.

Bledsoe had some sort of massive internal bleeding IIRC.

Man that was one serious asswhoopin the hawks performed on the giants.

I also heard that the GM of the giants was the one who was crying about it being too loud. :lol Pussies.

Can someone put together an animated gif of these pictures for Wellington's avatar for me? They're the TD makers of the game. And Hamlin who had 2 interceptions :)

Dawkins got his though. When a team has 1st and goal on the 1 and you almost singlehandedly shut down their "star" back, thats impressive. Even Dawk is human though, I think he just ran out of energy on the 2nd drive. :) He should have clubed Lewis for blowing yet another coverage. Thats 3 blown coverages and 3 tds in 3 weeks against him.

Youtube of Gore getting owned for the final time.

Hey... The way I see it is if your QB gets hurt on a hit, that is the fault of your o-line.

And if your punt returner didn't expect the wind to blow the ball back like that, that's his fault. And your QB throwing the ball away, it's not a crazy variable... it's a major part of the game. Don't forget, we had a few stupid plays, as well. It's a major part of the game.

So let's not make excuses here. Your excuses are as annoying to us as ours were annoying to you. We all lose from time to time... this is a rivalry just budding. I hate you guys more than the Ravens now. And that is saying something.

NEW TOPIC TO ALL YOU AFC NORTH HOMERS:

Did the Ravens get exposed by the Browns, or were the Browns gaining some confidence? (I missed the game)

Do you even have to ask?

Consider the Source for a second...

True :lol

BTW..taking a quick glance at the stats..I'm pretty sure that Alex will be the ONLY QB in the NFL to throw atleast 100 passes without an INT!

One of my roommates came told me as I walked in the door after getting home: 'Simms had his SPINE removed!'

:lol

Anyhow, hope he is okay, scary injury.

Andokuky said:
What, no stupid comment about how you have me on ignore?

I laughed because the media was making it sound like he was lying in a hospital somewhere about to die.

You can die from a ruptured spleen douche of the year.

.

Impossible. He already had his spine removed during one of the games against Oklahoma while he was at UT.
