I always make my picks on Tuesday/Wednesday; then I can change them whenever I need to if any breaking news pops up. I guess that's why I'm tied for 2nd the in GAF Experts league and alone in 2nd in the other league with confidence points :)

I actually made my picks on monday but they were generic, pick all the home teams and absolute blowouts, ie indy vs like arizona. It assures me, like 60% of the wins. That's better than a doughnut.

this is the worst week of football coverage I can remember. I get the Skins vs. 49ers, then the Ravens game.

Thats it. What a load of crap.

I put a handful of preliminary picks in early in the week, but I went back to try to set some at like 5:45 when I got home from work Friday and it had already locked me out for the week.
 
Poor Joey, hopefully he gets a chance elsewhere cos he's not that bad of a QB. I hope Jgar doesn't fall on his face though. Dude said he was just 70% this week and now he's starting? O_o
 
Saints owner Tom Benson declared this week that nothing will be decided on the franchise's future until after the season. But ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that, based on information from key league sources, the team has probably played its last game in New Orleans.

According to Mortensen, San Antonio is a likely home for 2006 and Los Angeles is the preferred destination beyond that. The NFL could still include New Orleans as a Super Bowl site when the city is reconstructed, and expansion might even be a possibility, but that's 10 to 15 years away.

If the Saints relocate to San Antonio or elsewhere, New Orleans has only a slim chance of ever seeing another NFL team, according to a major sports consultant.

Hey, can whoever runs the GAF experts pickem on Yahoo take me off of it? I forgot to make my picks last week, then I logged on today to make them and I didn't realize that there was a game on Friday. So now I'm two weeks behind and there's no point on being on there any more.

It was just said on Fox that he needs to reach a certain amount of yardage or he gets a salary cut next year. Makes sense now.

What are you whining about? I only wish I got the Skins game. I'm stuck with the usual Bills clash and Vikings vs Packers...OOOOOOOO. Nothing like a mid-season clash with two overrated cellar dwellers. At least the Bengals/Steelers game will be decent.

BTW, the city of San Antonio oughta be ashamed of themselves. I don't fault the Saints owner much, cause he's been making threats to leave for years. But San An should be a lot more respectable. But hey, that's politics for ya.

to be fair, the packers are probably the best sub-.500 team in the league right now.

Why can't the Colts find a guy that can kick touchbacks? They've tried about 5 different kickoff specialists over the last few years and they still can't get a guy to kick it past the 5 yard line on a regular basis. The guy this year doesn't kick them very deep but the coverage has been really good...except for right there.
 
Yahoo box score game tracker sucks balls. They always put wrong plays on there. They showed a Bengals TD, then no xp and kept doing more plays and still haven't fixed it.
 
Neither the Steelesr or Bengals could catch a ball on their first series.

Not another late hit!

Ahh, Steelers is out of control.
