I've made a ton of progress on my theme.

What I'm trying to do is make the colors attractive.


What I discovered is that while the Winsor Mckay artwork looks quite good on a television screen, the NES' color pallette does not. At all.


So I reduced all the sprites to pencil sketches and combined them with icons and I have to say, it looks much better.

I should have this theme done by the end of the week, but don't hold me to that.

m0dus, hopefully you don't take this the wrong way, but I was wondering, could you please fix some things regarding your themes (I'm a tidy freak, so this stuff annoys me a bit): it's the naming of your released themes. So far it's:

Unnoficial Okami Theme
Devil May Cry 4 Unnofficial Theme
Metal Gear Solid 4 by M0dus
Final Fantasy VII Unnofficial Theme
ICO

First of all, it's pretty inconsistent, and second, you managed to spell Unofficial wrong three times. Could you perhaps re-upload these like this:

Unofficial Okami Theme
Unofficial Devil May Cry 4 Theme
Unofficial Metal Gear Solid 4 Theme
Unofficial Final Fantasy VII Theme
Unofficial ICO Theme

Or simply by the game names (like ICO already is)? Hopefully it's not too big of a request, and it'll make your themes even more polished.

Don't really understand what the question was, but if you fix those issues, zip them all in one file, I can reupload them myself (all the theme files separately) to Filecrunch if that helps.

I need help, i cant download themes directly to my ps3 HDD via the ps3 web browser. Each time i try to download a theme all i get is the message "Insert Storage Media Device", instead of letting me download it into my HDD as before. Does anyone know the reason behind this?

You can only download certain files directly to your HDD. Seems a little stupid not to yet people download themes directly. I have a 1 gig usb drive I keep constantly in there so I go download than read.

None of them are staying up

well actually.. its the background that isn't staying up.. after leaving the XMB when I comeback.. the XMB's background is now the wave.... with a color that approximates the general color of the background that was up...

its really wierd...

anybody experience something similar?

The problem is, that just 4 or 5 days ago i could do it. I downloaded all my themes directly to my PS3 hdd using the ps3 web browser, so its kind of weird not being able to do it anymore all of a sudden.
