Anyone else having issues with the MSG4 theme? The wallpaper does not display even though it says it is active. All that happens when I apply the theme is I get a grey background with the generic "waves" and white icons....

I got that too when i used it on an SD tv.

I thought the MGS4 theme was quite good actually. I loved how old snake cloaks in the picture.

oh modus, do you know where i can find those final fantasy icons from your theme or how i can make them?

People are on a freaking roll with these themes you people that bust out with the themes rock , I only wish I had the skill to join you cause I would love to do a Twisted Metal: Black theme.
 
Ok, I'm taking a stab at it with a Silent Hill theme. So far, this is what I have for the wallpaper.

I'm still working on the icons, as you can see below. I'm mostly trying to use the items used in the Silent Hill games, but used other pics for the icons. Hopefully I'll get this done soon.

omg that LBP theme is so fun and awesome. Part of it gets cutoff because of my stupid monitor, argh. Is there any way to extract the wallpaper and adjust it myself?
 
Hahah and the thing is when they announce that you could cutimize themes before the 2.0 was out there was nothing but bitching from people including me! But hey it is bad ass so yeah.

What did you have in mind? I tried looking for some SH2 that had Pyramid Head in it, but can't. Do you know of any, or other wallpapers you suggest?

but the resolution probably isn't right/good enough... and you'd probably have to axe the "SH4 The Room" text.


but hey, maybe you can work with them? If not, well, you're doing a great job regardless. :)

I hate the green strips included in the theme anyways, but the icons are fantastic. :D

Oh and while I'm posting, can I just say fabulous work peeps, especially m0dus. That Okami one is the best. People would pay money for stuff like that. The icon work is spot on and sets it apart from the rest.
 
If you are looking for one place to get all your PS3 themes, PSU.com now has launched a user driven PS3 Theme secton. Right now there are close to 60 themes, but PSU has allowed users to upload there very own, making it easy to find all the latest PS3 themes.

Also, instead of having to work around .zip files, all files are .p3t and can be directly downloaded to the PS3 when visiting the site via PS3 internet browser.

Even though I'm Tifa biased, it would just make the picture look better overall, instead of Cloud's giant head taking up half the wallpaper. It's good, but adding more to it (Tifa) would make it much better.

Maybe someone could make an alternative?

Naaah, I love it with the Cloud picture. But I would prefer a different Cloud picture

Man you guys are so fast. I thought about cutting out images from already existing uncharted stuff but thought it wouldn't match what I already made. Today I started a sketch of the Sir Francis Drake picture and expected to do a simple digital coloring to it... So a few hours later

I have HD and SD versions of the wallpapers, but no one is on the theme. Why??? :-(
 
De-mon if your wall paper file size is to large it will not show up. If your using photoshop turn up the compression on the .jpg file. Not sure what the file size limit is, you will have to play around with it.

I'm working on a Biohazard/RE theme.
Should be complete in the next day or two.

I'm using game items for the icons, which is proving to be quite a challenge.
I'm trying to keep it all based in the pre-RE4 era, but a little bit of RE4 has creeped in.
I couldn't resist using Hunnigan for the chat icons.

Will upload it as soon as it's done.

Well, not everyone is as talented as you or other people, so it's easier for them to just change the look of the Sample icons. ;)
 
is there a method yet for changing the start-up animation and sound like there is on PSP?

also, I can't boot up the app. is it Vista compatible?
 
I need some feedback because I went a bit creative with this one.


It's from Winsor Mckay's "Walking Bed" comic, but I made it into the shape of a musical note.





All I want to know is whether it looks enough like a musical note.
 
i'm thinking about doing one myself, though i'm not that good of an artist. Trying to create a nice wallpaper for now, icons would come later

(in fact, and to be honest, i'd say i'm almost just posting this to give an idea to someone with talent :lol )
