I was gonna say Marvin Lewis was the real head coach of that team but im not so sure that would change anything...

The whole Dallas team was still loaded when Switzer came over so it really wasn't JUST Aikman. Hell Romeo Crennel could have won the SB with the team Dallas was fielding. I miss Jimmy coaching Dallas ;(. You can't just say Parcells + anyone he brought Vinny and that ended bad 6-10 and tied for last in the East.Gigglepoo said:You can win with an average coach with a great quarterback (Aikman and Switzer) or an average QB with a great coach (Parcells + anyone), but you have to be solid in one of those areas. I'm not sold on Trent Edwards being good enough to carry Dick Jauron.
I agree that coaching is often downplayed in the NFL, the one sport where it actually does matter.

What is this?Wellington said:It's a little weird that after a quiet off-season and pre-season, the only Cowboy fans around are Woodchuck, Zeke, and Levious, meanwhile Giants-Nation is growing.
Milabrega said:I've got the same problem in two leagues, ones PPR one isn't. Start in Flex DeSean Jackson vs NO with Kolb as his QB or Earl Bennet vs Pitt with Cutler as his QB?
I have other options in both leagues, Kevin Walter (injured & Vs Titans), McCoy, Donald Brown and Felix Jones but none are in a fantasy point producer role yet. Look over my teams now, its funny how I gamble on the same bench guys with each team, but have all different starters.

The Frankman said:Also I have 4 receivers...
Dwyane Bowe, @ Oakland
Steve Smith (Giants), @ Dallas
Eddie Royal, Cleveland
Michael Clayton, @ Buffalo
Though Bowe is facing Oakland and maybe Nmadi, He may have Cassel back + he should get a lot of balls thrown his way as the #1.
Eddie Royal is facing Cleveland. Enough said..
Steve Smith is emerging as Eli's fave target + Nicks is out.
Michael Clayton is now the #1 receiver since Antonio Bryant looks to be OUT (knee injury)
Out of the 4 who would you start if you had 2 spots?

Over Bowe? I mean you'd think he'd get a TD pass...Royal and Clayton.
I want the drama (EMBATTLED NFC CHAMPS WIN! lol), and regarding Buffalo I can't have faith in Trent Edwards... he'll throw it away.Gigglepoo said:I'm more surprised he's picking a west coast team to win an east coast road game. 10am kickoffs suck!

Smith vs. Dallas last year was good... REALLY GOOD. 14 catches, 264 yards and a TD. The TD thing is a concern, true. But I can see Smith still getting 70 yards and he's Eli's #1 right now.Striker said:Smith should be good this week, but I'm sure Dallas will put Newman on him, though if not, he should produce as usual. Hixon and Manningham may be bigger bets for the high yardage and/or TD play.

:lol This just made me notice something. Brees has thrown for 200+ yards for 20 consecutive games. Since the beginning of 2007 he has only thrown for under 200 yards twice.g0est said:Sun, Sep 20
NO @ PHI Drew Brees won't have 200 yards.
Which situation is Pittsburgh? Average coach and great qb or great coach and average qb? Or great coach and great qb (the ideal situation)?Gigglepoo said:You can win with an average coach with a great quarterback (Aikman and Switzer) or an average QB with a great coach (Parcells + anyone), but you have to be solid in one of those areas. Are you implying that there is not something entirely natural about Harrison's WWE like frame?Gigglepoo said:Great QB and great doctor.
Mediocre is still better then that gimp the Pats put behind center.Big-E said:Steelers under Cowher had mediocre QB and great coaching. With Epps, they have a mediocre QB and decent coaching but Epps commands more respect because he shot and killed Tupac.

Don't worry, at least Tampa doesn't like to run even when their backs are getting 10 yards a carry.LJ11 said:Nothing's a sure bet in the NFL. Without Poz in the middle, the LB group is extremely undersized, and TB OL can maul you up front. It'll be a hard fought game.

How dare you insult the reigning defensive player of the year like that!

Is this normal gunslinger hate or should i really start Romo? Its the Lions though, maybe he'll toss a couple to Berrian, percy, or AP.
