Oh yikes I've played this game for HOW long!?

Assuming you sleep for 8 hours and eat whilst playing, that's 55 solid days.

wat

I clocked 220 days on FFXI before quitting. Yes some of that time was spent leaving the character on overnight, but still. Glad I quit.

963 hours of Vs. mode on Melee. And this is from my 2nd memory card, so since 2006.

I've definitely hit 1000+ if I include the time I've played on other GCs.

Let's see, I'll take the top games on my xfire and post 'em:

World of Warcraft - 2,364 hours
EverQuest II - 569 hours
Vanguard - Saga of Heroes - 193 hours
PlanetSide - 173 hours
Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided - 167 hours
Counter-Strike: Source - 151 hours
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Multiplayer - 146 hours
Battlefield 2 - 143 hours
Dragon Age: Origins - 106 hours

And before I had xfire I was playing EverQuest so... No idea how much time on that, easily over 1,000. Or console RPGs like Dragon Quest 8, Lost Odyssey, Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 etc...

According to xfire, which I did *not* run all the time, I've got 2,361 hours in WoW. I've got at least 400 hours in Team Fortress 2, and maybe 200+ hours in Audiosurf.

I've got roughly 700 hours in Pokémon Diamond. Add the ~200 Hours from Platinum, ~50 hours from Pokémon Battle revolution and the fact that I haven't even got Heart Gold yet and you're looking at a lot of time. And that's only this generation. That number probably increases by 50% if you include the earlier games.

Guild Wars.
Considering I stopped playing two years ago (but still installed it on my 6 month old rig) i'd say that's pretty "impressive".

Over 2000 hours in Phantasy Star Online v2. Admittedly a huge chunk of that was spent standing around in the lobby talking to teammates, but still...

Second to that is a combined 300 hours on Tales of Vesperia.

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that Morrowind doesn't keep track of play time. I've probably spent more time with that game than any other. Most time I've spent on a game that has a clock is FFXII, 115 hours. Not that hardcore compared to some people here...

Raptr.com says I've been playing Dragon Age for almost 300 hours... that's probably the most I've ever played one game (multiple characters of course).

I just looked up my ye olde Everquest main character...

Total Time Played
149 days 12 hours 54 minutes

Thats 6 minutes short of 3589 hours playing time.

While it's not nearly as long as a lot of you, I realized recently that I've played MW2 more than I thought. For some reason I was multiplying the days time by 12 instead of 24.

Sheeeit I just remembered that summer I spent playing nothing but N1 games. Disagea, Disgaea 2, Phantom Brave, and Makai Kingdom. Christ I think all together I have more than +1500 hours. I know I have 700 something on Disgaea 2 alone.

100 hours on Persona 3, unfinished

Thousands of hours spent on Halo 2 tricking and glitching, making videos, and just playing.

70 hours on Demon's Souls

So, somewhat out of boredom I decided to look up and add the total playtimes of all the different Phantasy Star Online characters I've had over the course of playing it. That's not including all the extra deleted characters or my accidentally deleted Episode 3 data.

So after after switching out 3 memory cards, jotting everything down, and wincing while crunching it all down with a calculator I came up with this:

985 hours and 20 minutes

And fortunately I'm sure I'll break a thousand in not too long as I still occasionally play on the Schthack's private server.

Needless to say... I'm sort of taken back by just how much time I've spent playing this thing. Which leads me to ask gaf, what's the game that made you do a double take at that total playtime number and just go "What the in the hell?"

I was amazed when I broke 200 hours in PSO, myself. That was a real 'wow' moment.

Then I started playing World of Warcraft. Suffice to say, I'm rapidly approaching 300.

Days.

Wow, I think I had like 700 hours in WoW over a year and a half before I quit, which is like 5% of my time, and even that had a pretty drastic effect on my social life. Clearly I got off easy.

Everquest, probably something like 400 days total. So, something like 10,000 hours? :lol

2748 hours on one of my Runescape accounts. Yeeeeaaahhhhhh. Although I know a person or two that have put in about 3x that.

I have 20 days logged in COD4, and 9 days in MW2, and last i have 8,477 games of halo logged in Halo 3 so i have a lot of time logged in FPS.:lol

I am somewhat glad I can't tally my time from Civilization 4. Averaging six hours per game, I don't even want to consider the total. Time well spent though. It's a fantastic game.

I got to almost fifty hours in FFXIII way too quickly.

Luckily, I finished it before it consumed me totally.

Demon's Souls went to 650 hours too fast. I mean, blazing fucking lightning fast. Made me go "huh?"

Then we've got WoW...

Holy smokes thats impressive.

I thought over 150 hours on Burnout Paradise was a lot.

I believe I logged 98 hours into MW1 as of last Thursday. Other than that, I usually don't stick to one game for very much long. The Artist Formerly Known As Infinity Ward must've spun some voodoo on me or something.

Some of you guys are fucking crazy. And not like a good crazy. I feel really good about myself now. The longest I've ever done on one game is well below 100 hours (70 something in rome total war).

I had over 360 days logged into Final Fantasy XI that number also floors me when I think I had the game for only two years. Some/Most of that time though is being AFK selling stuff in my "Bazaar". Oh to be young and have all the time in the world again... :lol

150 days in WoW in only 2 years.

That's right, I spent a whole fifth of my life playing WoW in those two years. About 5 hours a day.

100+ hours in Fallout 3: GOTY edition and I haven't done the expansions yet! Other than that I think I logged over 120+ in Pikmin 1.

W-wow... The only game I ever broke 100 hours in was Ninja Gaiden Black (roughly 120 hours). Fallout 3 and FFXII got pretty close with (~90 hours).

My brother has 2000+ hours in Team Fortress 2, ~1800 of which he was the spy. The most I've ever spent was 200 hours on GTA Vice City, with Pokemon Blue a close second.

This thread makes me feel like an inferior gamer. The most I've logged to any game would be a toss-up between Suikoden II, Final Fantasy Tactics, Baldur's Gate, and Civilization II. But no more than 200 hours for any single one of those.

Between the SNES, PS1, GBA, and DS versions of FFIV, I'm probably put 150-200. Don't think I've come close in anything else. Used to play a lot more RPGs when I was younger... wish I could today, but there just isn't time. :/
