Oh yikes I've played this game for HOW long!?

My longest non-online gaming experience was FFXIII. 105 hours is the most I've done for an offline game. :lol

But online on the other hand... I spent 300++ hours for Ragnarok Online.
 
A friend of mine has over a YEAR of play time in FFXI. Of course he's been playing since it came out. And still faithfully plays to this day.

Myself, I think Morrowind has probably consumed the most hours of my life. Either that or MHFU. Not sure how much time I've put into Morrowind over the years, but I've put about 200 hours into MHFU.

Also I'm sure if you added up all the time I've spent playing various Dynasty Warriors games (c'mon, I'm Koei's biggest fan and even I admit they're all the same game :lol ) I'm sure it'd be some ridiculous number. I have 100 hours in DW Gundam 2 alone.

I don't want to be another gaffer to take the moral highroad, but if I had sunk a year of my life into a video game, I think I would stop and completely re-evaluate my life and priorities.
 
I thought I had a lot, but compared to the people here... I'm glad I don't play online games :P
Anyway, over the past 7 years, I've probably got somewhere around 1500-2000 hours of Pokémon. Mostly Sapphire (first Pokémon game); that has around 700 hours. Emerald has somewhere about 500, Pearl around 200, and Platinum (over multiple saves) around 150. HeartGold has nearly 100 hours, and I've had it for less than a month :P
I don't know how much I've done of the spin-offs, though I did play Ranger 2 to 100% completion (S-ranks on every Pokémon, including Regigigas, and beaten the Capture Arena).

If you would add Duke3D (build mostly), Quake, StarCraft, Daggerfall you'd have my entire childhood. I was forced to stop playing Mass Effect 2 by guilt that I could be having 2 full time jobs instead of playing it. :p

And that's without mentioning WoW. *cough*
 
About 13 days (312 Hours) in Gears of War 2 Multi.
And i think i spent around 150 hours on my Oblivion character.
 
About 200 hours on my new wow account, around 300 on the old one.

And I believe to be around 130 on Fallout, and near 250 on Oblivion (I love Bethesda games :D )
 
At least an average of 10 hours a week on RTW. When I am reaaallly into it though I play it for a couple of hours a night. So I would have smashed 1000 and then some. I cant get enough of that game.
 
You guys crazy.

I get bored of any game after about 20 hrs max, i think i have game attention defict disorder. I just can't understand how people play the same game day in day out.
 
I'll have to double check, but I think I've got something like 500+ hours or so across all of my Guild Wars characters. Granted, a sizable portion of that is idling overnight during the numerous holiday events over the years (and just idling in town), but that's still a shitload of time. Great game though.
 
OP you are smalltime. I've seen several FFXI addicts with 1000+ days.

Days, son. Days. Even if they AFKed an average of 8 hours a day while they slept.. that's a huge amount of time.

As for me, I played PSU over the summer for 150~ hours. I've played like 700 hours of RO but that's been over 8 years of off and on playing. Diablo 2 I spent about 150hours~ back in like 2003 when I was a kid and had all the time in the world. As for PSO I don't remember but it must have been a lot. Probably 500.
 
SSBM - 670 hours
Ragnarok Online - +1200 hours
PSO Ep I & II (GC) - 180 hours
Modern Warfare 2 - +230 hours

And many other games where I could never count the hours but I played for way TOO much:

Unreal Tournament 99
Quake 3
Sim City 3000 / 4
RTCWolfenstein

And a lot I completely forgot.
 
I don't even want to think about how many hours I've spent playing Diablo II in my life...I'm so happy that doesn't have a game clock :D
 
Compared to the examples above,my highest play times aren't that big.
+200 hours in Super Smash Bros Melee
94 hours in Final Fantasy XII,and I still want to defeat the other 8 optional Bosses.
Also,~120 hours in Twilight Princess combined,3 playthroughs.
 
Offline games hmm I have put 120 hours into FFX.
I have put over 200 hours into the original pokemon silver until some idiot erased it...
 
150+ hours into Demon's Souls, easily, and I don't even have the platinum. :lol

Probably a good 250-300 hours on KZ2 online.

I'm most likely well over 100 hours on several sports games, but none of them track playtime.

Otherwise, nothing like 1,000 hours or anything on any game. Some of you guys are nuts. :lol
 
I had over 365 days played in Dark Age of Camelot in 2005. That was 4 years of hardcore playing. I was one of the better players though. That's not counting alt characters either.


700 hours in Trench Wars as well.
 
12.5 days for Halo 3 online. Not counting campaign games I believe. Maybe there are games which I have played more but I doubt it. This is also not shockingly high compared to other people here and friends of mine.
 
So, somewhat out of boredom I decided to look up and add the total playtimes of all the different Phantasy Star Online characters I've had over the course of playing it. That's not including all the extra deleted characters or my accidentally deleted Episode 3 data.

So after after switching out 3 memory cards, jotting everything down, and wincing while crunching it all down with a calculator I came up with this:

985 hours and 20 minutes

And fortunately I'm sure I'll break a thousand in not too long as I still occasionally play on the Schthack's private server.

About 250-300 hours. Three hats. No idling.

I still suck at half the classes.

No clue how much Rock Band/Rock Band 2 I've played but it's probably more than my TF2 time.
 
I had put in about 185 days on Meier when I sold him (Everquest). That was over the course of about 2.5 years.. 25% of my day basically. I definitely was addicted -- fortunately this was in HS so I had spare time but I do regret it terribly. Just before that, I must have spent 1000s of hours on my DragonQuest character (text-based subscription MUD).

My WoW character probably only had 20-30 days before I quit. Played it again when TBC on a new guy and might have put in 8-10 tops.

I am at 81 hours or so on FFXIII. I played through FFX three separate times...probably did about 150 hours or so. Maybe 30-40 of that was on blitzball.

Last I checked, Raptr put me near 100 hours on NCAA 10. It doesn't seem to track PS3 games very well but I am sure I have put in at least 40-50 hours on MLB the Show.
 
Offline: 120 hours in Final Fantasy XII.

Online: 400 hours in Killzone 2 MP, and FIFA is on its way to beat this record. The game's online is like crack. :D

I played Counter-Strike almost every day from 2000-2007....two straight years playing only Dust2, one solid year of scoutzknivez...

Over 5000 hours invested in CS.
 
Yet another WoW addict here. :lol 8102 hours (337 days). 7801 (325 days) of those are on my main character. The rest is on the only lvl 80 alt I have but I'am sure I can add 2-3 days if I count my low level alts.
 
Some of these Final Fantasy XIII #'s are pretty shocking. Is the game really that long? I was going to pick it up soon, but 80 hours is too much. I was assuming it could be beaten in like 40-50.
 
I don't want to know how many hours I've put in to Quake 3/Live.. I've been playing at least three hours (minimum) every week since the beginning of 2000.
 
World of Warcraft.

113 days played on my main character, that was about 9 months ago before I took an extended break because of school. I shudder to think what my total time played across all my characters over the last five years would be...

Do I regret all that time? Nope, not a bit. Made a lot of good friends, and honestly if I hadn't been playing WoW, what would I have been doing instead? Playing a different game? I think it's funny how many people are ashamed of their time spent with World of Warcraft.
 
In PSo I have ~ 650 hours between 4 characters... and in PSU I have 1284 hours just in my main character. I have to be close to 2000 hours in PSU
 
I think I have around 150 hours in Fallout 3 on 2 different characters.

Then in halo 2 i have 1263 games, if we say I spend around 10 min per game that comes to 210½ hours.

And then we have WoW, Over the 5 years I have played it I probably have around 200 days played over all my characters combined, so that's 4800 hours. However hundreds of those hours are when I'm just sitting afk in a city while reading neogaf :lol
 
My wow and pristontale days propably more then 120 days.

Single player, i think lords2 and transport tycoon cost me 200+ hours each.
