They are however two of the most attractive women on the planet.

That's the thing, I was aware of both actresses but it just never registered for the longest time and I'd been seeing previews for a year. All I could think is "Oh great, looks like Zooey might be in another bomb this year." They don't even look that much alike. It'd be far more appropriate to get Zooey and Katy Perry mixed up.

it was Michael Jackson, Jackson recorded all of the speaking parts for the character of Leon Kompowsky, but part of his conditions was that someone else do the singing. Kipp Lennon's voice was used for the singing parts, speaking parts were actually Jackson, and at the end when Kompowsky speaks in his "Real" voice it is done by Hank Azaria.

John Jay Smith was just a pseudonym that Jackson used.
