Just got an email from amazon saying it was pushed back to July 21. Is this true?
Please don't be true.
I hope it's not true. Best Buy is still listing it as 6/30, but they just may be slow on the update.

That's not how XSEED works. Unless they've specifically mentioned a date, they're all placeholders, even if they're all using the same date. It's not like Aksys and Atlus where their placeholders are usually the release date.
I hope it isn't pushed back that far, it was going to be the first game I dove Into during my long vacation!!Just got an email from amazon saying it was pushed back to July 21. Is this true?

Creative is a good choice of words. Mentioned this game and it's strawberry and banana trailer to a married Co-worker who ended up watching it; despite me trying to assure him the game play more than measures up, the "I can't" was so profound, he became the German philosopher. That Banana costume is quite a creative way to place a Banana in.........
No thanks. I like my videogame boobies to come with subtlety and plausible deniability.
I'd like it if someone could help me out. I'm very interested in picking up another crazy-and-over-the-top action game, but one with nuanced, complex combat mechanics that give the player a lot of room to learn and get better. I can thank DMC4: SE for that.
Basically, I'm wondering if Oneechanbara Z2: Chaos is what I'm looking for. I don't expect the game to be as deep as a DMC game, but I would still like to know more about the combat mechanics and such. For that matter, I have a few questions:
1) What mechanics and dangers make the combat system most compelling for you?
2) Is it possible to complete levels and/or kill bosses without getting hit?
3) What are the hardest difficulty modes like? Are they comparable to the likes of Dante Must Die or God Hand's Hard Mode, in that they are unforgiving but still fair?
4) Is there an invincible dodge?
If anyone could answer, I'd appreciate it. I'm already intrigued at the $39.99 price tag, but the answers I get here may end up sealing the deal. =D

Go for it kingI should do a stream in training mode to show some of the insane shit in that game. If you guys wanna see it. I got this game right in mah hands.
I remember the training mode in this game is not nearly as good as the one in the Wii title. Made me sad.
This looks like one of those B-action games from the PS2 era that I miss so much these days... but with more boobs.
I want to believe this is awesome.
If you guys have questions be sure to ask. I am just running through some missions
Later I will edit up some combos and show people what I mean by tag canceling combos to lengthen you combos and chain blade chucking if you guys want.
Glad to be of help to youShinMaruku, Bayonetta, Nyoro SF, thank you so much for your responses. If you guys ever stream the game, I'll see if I can catch, but suffice it to say, I think I'll be looking forward to July 21st.
In Japan you could buy the dlc.about the only good place i can seem to pre-order this in canada is bestbuy. Can i get the banana costumes if i get the game digitally and just buy them as DLC?
