Our Lollipop (‘L’) update begins to roll out to all OnePlus One device owners today. Enjoy sweet additions and improvements in our latest software release, above and beyond the goodness in Android Lollipop. YU Yureka device owners will be treated to the Lollipop update coming very soon.

The material design language implemented for Lollipop now makes its way across our Cyanogen operating system. Taking on the material design elements of visual, motion and interaction design, Cyanogen OS has never looked better.

Our latest ‘L’ release gives you extra theming features, down to the granular ability to theme individual apps using the new feature called App Themer. You also have more choice in themes - both free and now paid themes. We’ve now made it even easier for you to turn your operating system into your own personal canvas.

We’re also excited to debut the new Cyanogen email, powered by Boxer. The premium version of Boxer comes free to all Cyanogen OS users. This new email experience provides sweet benefits that were previously missing from the built-in mail app. Enjoy Exchange support, multiple account integration, and canned responses for quick replies. Boxer has added great customization bells and whistles - select a different LED color for email notifications, and choose what happens when you swipe left or right on a message. We think you’ll enjoy the level of customization and choice you have with the new Cyanogen email.

The ‘L’ update has been a labor of love for many of us here, with major contributions from the CyanogenMod open source community. Go ahead and treat yourself to Cyanogen OS 12.

My phone has been acting up lately, losing WiFi and crashing every so often. I hope this update will help on that front.

Nice, i have been waiting for this. I tried OxygenOS but it lacked so many of the customization options that I loved so this will be very welcome

It's been a month since Lollipop was rolled out for the Sony Xperia Z3, and still no update in the US. You know, not to turn this into one of those threads, but iPhones are so much better about getting OS updates it's ridiculous.

What's the overall consensus on the OnePlus One? Are people liking the device? Is it reliable? Does it slow down after several months of use? How's the actual real-world battery life?

Can you elaborate on the hardware issues? Or provide a link that does?

For me.. (this is my first Android phone).. it is a great piece of hardware and can really beast its way through most anything I throw at it. However... I do tend to have to reboot it about 3-4 times a week because for some reason the volume does not work or it wont wake up or something similar.

It just feels a tad buggy at times... 95% of the time it is fantastic and the best phone I have ever had. Again.. not sure if this is an android thing as my girlfriend is always rebooting her S4 so maybe coming from the Windows environment where it was pretty damn stable has skewed my view.

But with that being said.. I could use this phone the next 2 years and be totally happy.

It's had touch screen issues since it launched. Lots more cropping up of late with the warmer weather. Yellow banding was an issue on the display for a long time, likely solved now though.

Just out of curiousity, what's the weather like where you live? Hot? Mild? Cold?

No update yet for me in NYC. If GTAV still doesn't work when I get home I guess I'll just do it manually.

This lack of silent mode in Lollipop is driving me nuts. As someone who has their phone on silent 90% of the time, this unnecessary change is now making me hate my device. Can't believe CM didn't sort this like other hardware manufacturers did. Google screwed up with that change so hard.

Use silent profile? The whole priority setting on lollipop is stupidly confusing that is my gripe.

Amazing phone, absolutely no issues, my brother and one of my sisters got one after I did as well and they love their phones too. Honestly an amazing phone.

Still waiting on the update.

Today I noticed something odd, I don't know how I turned it on, but there seems to be a spotlight following my finger around the touch screen. I never noticed it before, there has to be an option to turn it off. I went through the entire settings thing but didn't find anything that looked related to it.

Agreed. Also notifications are horrible and the music player lock screen controls are fucked. These are both things google screwed up. With this update I'm getting worse signal than I did on the previous update also. I'm going to flash back to 4.4.4.
