Apparently you can run it in Windows Vista compability mode which removes that, haven't tried it though. Hope you fix it.FLEABttn said:How do you disable the Aero Peek? I can't stand that thing when it comes to web browsers.

chrome has had jump list support for quite a whileBrettison said:Mad props to Opera for being the first browser outside of MS own IE8 to get us some full Win 7 integration. Aero peak + jump lists = AWESOME. Doesn't appear that we'll get this in FF anytime soon with FF 4 probably at best now at the end of the year. Plus Google hasn't shown they are doing any of that with chrome either.
PS: Like the skin idea, but hate having to have the tabs on the side and in the big format.
Open standard_menu.ini, you disable any menu entries there.FLEABttn said:Yeah, that worked.
Anyway to modify the right click menu? It's like 3 times longer than the Chrome and Firefox menu; it's full of crap I'll never need.

Since I seem to be getting awesome answers from this thread, is there anyway to make the status bar behave like the status bar in Chrome? Specifically the "hides until you mouse over a link for about 150ms".

Not sure if it works in 10.5 yet.

Unless either of you uninstalled the stable 10.10 and decided to keep the beta or deleted your bookmarks on that version your bookmarks should still be on it.santouras said:yeap I lost all my bookmarks when I tried to import them from my old install.........
Also noticed you can right click and inspect element instead of having to fire up dragonfly through the menu system, much better.
Good to hear. Oh and the latest version doesn't require you having the tabs at the side: http://my.opera.com/community/customize/skins/info/?id=9281Threi said:i found out why there was no transparency: I dled the wrong file (the link at the right) instead of scrolling down for the link :lol
It's iffy in 10.5. I wouldn't try it without a solid backup.jobber said:Does Opera Link work yet?
beastmaster said:Can anyone that uses this as a main browser answer a quesion for me? Do you ever have to still use IE for some sites ? The reason I ask is I pretty much use Chrome for everything unless I stumble accross some shit website that requires me to use IE for whatever reason. So then I have to fire up that crap of a browser to access the site. (usually when this happens its some buisiness that my wife pays a bill on or has to do with her work email so its not some random crap website, its an important crap website) So what I'm saying is I'd love to check out this build but hate the idea of still needing IE to do some browsing and then would have 3 web browsers .
Mask as IE or Firefox, right click > site preferences.Deadly Cyclone said:Downloaded and am still disappointed in Chrome and Opera, neither of them support forums like Xbox.com for posting. The HTML/Font bar is missing still.
Is there any way to get this to show up?
yoopoo said:Mask as IE or Firefox, right click > site preferences.
That depends on the skin. Either you change the skin on your own, or you find one that does it. Or you can just go with the flow, because the more tabs on the bar, the shorter the bars are(if you're not using wrapping that is)Deadly Cyclone said:Awesome thanks. One final question, in Chrome and Firefox you can make the tabs just a small icon as opposed to a long bar, I have figured out how to get just the icon in Opera, but it keeps the tab bar full length, how do I shorten it?
Sh1ner said:Opera is my main browser, but because of the usual compatability issues though I use firefox as my backup, when that doesnt work either I have the IE tab extension which runs IE in a firefox tab or something which is awesome.
On a sidenote, Tamils blog is really awesome for such tweaks. There's also a Opera Wiki, which may be kinda outdated. Also, theres a new site called Extend Opera which seems to be a pretty nice effort.yoopoo said:

Will download in a few. But it IS beta...hmmm, when will the real version actually release?
http://www.opera.com/dragonfly/documentation/ (use with the debug menu download from here: http://www.opera.com/dragonfly/, and it's apparently not updated for 10.50 or I just ran into a bug or sth)Deadly Cyclone said:One final question, is there anything for opera like Firefox's developer toolbar? To turn cache off, etc?
You can, however it is not recommended. As I said in the original post, this is still a beta version, and even though it is generally suited for broad audience testing, it still may not work at all, crash, lose data, explode or rape children, nobody knows ;P Better back up you Opera profile.DieH@rd said:Nice news, im a hardcore Opera user. Is there a chance that i can instal this beta over my current 10.10 version and retain all customizations? Or does it must be standalone?
You can't upgrade 10.10 to the beta, but you'll probably be able to with the actual release.DieH@rd said:Nice news, im a hardcore Opera user. Is there a chance that i can instal this beta over my current 10.10 version and retain all customizations? Or does it must be standalone?
