What do you find questionable about them?
Lars, for example. He's the definition of a Mary Sue-esque character.
>Illegitimate Son of Heihachi Mishima
>An unproven Tekken Force grunt able to force a large rebellion within the Tekken Force ranks to take on both the Zaibatsu and G Corp
>after 'stumbling' on another pointless Mary Sue that doesn't add much to the story, he just suddenly gets Amnesia instead of dying like every other Tekken Force soldier.
>Befriends/alligns with Lee Chaolan, mind you that Lee fucking /despises/ Kazuya and Jin, but KNOWING that Heihachi's his dad he just alligns with him because yolo
>Takes down an entire squad of Zaibatsu drones AND Nina Williams by himself
His design compared to the other Mishimas stick out like a sore thumb. Honestly Lars, unlike Kazuya and more agressively akin to jin, was created solely for fanservice. Handsome, muscular, cleft chined european droll with little to no developing personality through the entirety of the campaign . It's sad that Masashi Kishimoto put more character in his Naruto iteration than Namco did with his Tekken thing.
There's more Offenders; Alisa (overpowered robot for a series known for it's pretty average robots like the Jack units, but created solely for universal appeal.), Lili (clone of Karin from SF) Raven (Wesley Snipes general) La Mariposa (It's fucking Julia) Ling Xiaoyu (boring Schoolgirl/clingy to Jin), eetc.
Remember when Howarang used to get away from his obsession with beating Jin in Tekken 3, and moved on to being a military expert in Tekken 4? But for some fucking reason they go back to arrogant shithead in Tekken 5? That's the shit that really couldn't stand about Tekken's characterizations. Chrisie--once a unique and interesting character in Tekken 4 due to her connections with Eddy--is now a ball of Fanservice that doesn't contribute anything to the series. Hell in Tekken 3 they had a damn good start with Forrest Law's story, but they just...go back to Marshall for no fucking reason. What the hell happened to Kunimitsu? She had something EXTREMELY important to go through with Yoshimitsu that was NEVER covered again after Tekken 2.
It's just a waste. It's lazy. It's pointless, compared to KOF where we see minor characters like Kensou had mastered his spirit of the dragon by the time KOFXIII came out.
