Holy mother of GOD that is breathtakingly amazing. Damn!! Seriously, maybe this kind of praise doesn't mean that much anymore because of all your work so far, but my god your latest Metroid one is near perfect! Easily your best work so far. And that's saying a LOT considering how awesome most of your other work is. WOW.

Someone in another thread mentioned something about how EAD Tokyo should make a Metroid that has the feel of the 3D 2D sections of Galaxy & Jungle Beat. I saw this and realized that this is a fucking magnificent idea and also realized that this shit is awesome.

Wish that Metroid one was in a bigger res, my desktop is 1600x1200 and I hate stretched images. Good work none the less orioto, as always!

Holy crap! This is beautiful!
I love the freaky, alien texture you've created for the surfaces of the world, and the little metroids in the background. The colours act as a mist almost, and are very not-of-nature, really conveys the idea of a truly alien, living other world.
Please become a video game art director.

thats cool yeah I have always wanted get one but I used one of the first ones to com out once and it was crap. I keep thinking i would need to get the $400 model for it to be any good but clearly that is not the cases.
