Awesome! I'm glad you're selling it for a whole month, that way I have all month to save up enough extra cash to buy it. School's starting up soon, so I have a lot of expenses coming up in the next couple of weeks.

Haha i'm not really comfortable with the idea that someone as to save for my work. I'm sorry i cannot make it less expensive!
MY WALLET IS READY.
Any idea what sizes it'll be available in?
Yeah, that wouldn't bode well for the other two, I imagine.
Out of curiosity, how many sales do you have to turn to feel that the time investment is worthwhile? Especially considering this thing looks like it took you over a month.
That is unfortunate. While I hope you do the others in the set, I understand if it's not possible. I think it's fantastic and would love to own the set of three. I think they would look great together.
I wish I knew what else to suggest. Sorry.
I look forward to seeing it up on the site, will purchase when I get home from work if it shows up in the next 4 hours or so.

Looks great! I've decided to get the medium canvas print when I get the chance.
edit: Which is after I buy my textbooks in a couple of weeks.
So, i told you it was loadedIt's like a giant FFVI hamburger!
Poster here till the 2nd of September.
I don't get the 'fresco' naming, fresco's a technique, not a style of composition. this is more of a polyptych. still, definitely cool!
I'm afraid you're right^^''
How's the sales so far? Has the increased visibility helped any?
Looks fantastic. I'm definitely buying one as soon as I figure out what kind I want...
Haha... I'm trying to decide between an extra large canvas print and an extra large photographic print to then frame myself. I actually prefer the look of canvas, but I'm more worried about how well it'll hold up after years and multiple moving trips. With a framed piece I can always just easily replace anything that might get damaged.
People don't really know that but actually i do 200% more margin on the canvas or frame you buy directly from RedbubbleI take a part of the final price.
So will there be two more pieces or is this the only piece we'll see for FFVI?
Also you might consider doing something like the small prints Olly Moss did for video game heroes a little while ago. I would love to have little 5x5 or whatever of individual scenes from FFVI in the same style as the frescoes. I think individual frames/scenes in the more cartoon-y style you use for the frescoes would be pretty appealing.
I'm glad you're considering finishing up the set.
Staggering it is probably the best for your income stream and work load, as well.
In that case, I'm glad I went with the size class I did, that'll give me enough wall space to add the other two whenever you finish those.
Of course, take your time. I'm just happy you're doing them.
Edit: I did not mean to appear pushy or impatient or anything, just thankful. I apologize if so.

I'm definitely interested in buying some prints, I'm just torn on whether I want to go the poster route or the print (canvas) route.![]()
I should stop this one to ?
You know if i had to rely on gaf reaction to finish a work i would never finish anything.
You're in part why i barely stopped the FFVI fresco. There is really nothing good for me there... How depressing and unmotivating GAF has been over the years, i swear..
And now that i'm whinning people will come to say how much they love me or they hate me, cause they actually read the thread, and then i'll continue to post my work in complete solitude the day after..

I always wanted to see your vision for this screen (in a similiar style like your yoshis island, super mario world and secret of mana).
I do like your work, a lot. I have bought a few pieces from the rb and look forward to the work you continue to do.
I am not, however, capable of offering very constructive criticism or acclaim as I am not terribly great with art. I do not know or have the breadth of knowledge or ability to be helpful in that regard, I don't think.
I trust your judgement in putting your pieces together, because I like the composition and designs at the end of the day for practically every one of them. For what it's worth, I like the Mario 3 stuff so far. I imagine you'll choose key scenes on your own. You've shown a good penchant for capturing the key essence of each world so far.
I do not get a chance to read this thread every day. I do not know what to add in many cases, and thus won't post if it isn't constructive. Know that you have a fan in me, but please don't assume that silence is akin to either ignoring the work, not being appreciative, or otherwise.

I respect your reasons but in the end i'm doing a MB3 art and i've got zero people interested on a massive videogame borad like Neogaf. Zero, not one people saying "oh cool i'm looking forward to it" or "i'm a big fan of the game, try to not forget about the whistle warp zone". Or simply, "i like how it looks, looking forward to the end result". So what's the point, except putting me in a position where i have to think "ok this is all right, nobody comment on my work but i have to assume they are really looking into it and continue".
Again, the FFVI fresco would have never ever be finished if it was only for gaf reactions, and i think when there is a FFVI thread appearing, there is a pretty vivid community posting in it.
It's like people assume i'm some kind of special people posting there as a commercial of some type or i represent someone and you just read the news like a feed. But hey, GAF the only point in being there is to interact with you, or there is absolutely no point at all. I'm there to communicate with videogame fans.
GAF is a huge place, worthy threads sink all the time, and shit threads can be bumped for days on end. Trying to capture the interests of thousands of people when something moves as fast as it does here is not only difficult, but when it fails to happen, taking it personally is unfair to both you and to the forum going community at large.
I am unsure what other reactions you get, or where else you post your work and get better feedback on it. Those communities sound like better outlets for constructive criticism than GAF appears to be. If that is the case, perhaps it is best not to dwell overly on the lack of GAF responses sometimes, but to be particularly proud of the times you do get lots of praise for your work. The reactions in this thread to the FF6 piece, while maybe not as numerous as you hoped, were pretty unanimous in their positive opinions.

You were 95% of the answers i had on the FFVI thread, and see, you're again almost the only guy posting now. 99% of gaf just ignores me, so i should indeed just stop posting there. That's a place i liked pretty much for some years and i's sad cause i tried to build some connection but they don't seem to like me.
