Despite me thinking it's not the most appropriate stage to define Mega Man with, I think what you have is looking really good at the moment. With how your piece is looking now, the Astroboy Mega Man would seem out of place, but if you can you should try to keep with the emotionless "blank robot stare" that his classic style is know for. Or... you could use the original cover arts as an inspiration... :-/

I'm working on some facebook games right now.
I did the background for this one : GooDeluxe
It was an emergency fix actually, just an afternoon work to help. It's a little hard to match the game colors but i tried.
I'm now working on an other puzzle where i do all the art this time. I hope it will be classy !
In the same time, my "big" game i'm working on with a talented dev who bring me the project is moving forward. Graphics are my style and we're working on a really interesting game design ! I think we'll show something soon.

Secondly - someone posted up something about Fatal Fury - id love to see the same thing - either Fatal Fury/King of Fighters or something - or even Killer Instinct - would love to see you take on something of a fighting game.

It's sad that we have so many technical advances and yet we see such a small amount of art that reflects it's true capabilities.

funny, i caught Orioto's work from over on Kotaku, but i'm glad to get the chance to say its brilliant somewhere he'll hear it.
ive grabbed many of them, but that Phantasy Star IV one came outta nowhere and blew me away, such a great piece for such a great game.

I've always loved your work, me being banned for 6 months and not being able to tell you how fucking awesome you are every single time you update with a new picture, has been a pain for me. Besides, you even did a FFVI picture, which I requested before I got banned... I love you so much for that.orioto said:

Didn't see this until now. Looks like it turned out pretty good. I liked that you kept Mega Man as classic as possible. It makes me wish that Mega Man 10 would be something like this. Also looks like Mega Man is pretty screwed once he gets past that crystal guard. Hope he has a Rush Jet to get past those spikes.
