Can anyone else confirm this is the email they got as well?
You realize they prob did a F&F wave along with random users during their maintenance right? Several people have received a closed beta access email who are on the list.
There are currently two emails going out, the weekend beta one with dates, and the one i posted above
Err actually, did anyone receive an email that was DIFFERENT from this one?

Yes, the emails are slow (as stated by Blizzard themselves). Now, whether you got full access or weekend access, I couldn't tell you.

Sweet I'm in the Beta now. Excited to give this bad boy a shot
The emails are super slow, but you can check your account management page and Overwatch Beta should be there along with the preorder icon.
Welp, still not in. Oh well, hope you guys enjoy the beta. guess I'll just keep waiting.

Right now there doesn't seem to be a confirmed way of finding out.
Ohh, my bad. I think you just have to wait for the email in the case. Winston = Weekend, Agent 47 = Closed, i think.

I'll be pre-ordering the Xbox One version as soon as pre-load goes up but I'm really hoping to play the PC beta. I've been a long time fan of Blizzard games but aside from their games, I do most of my gaming on console. So psyched to have Blizzard launching Overwatch on console alongside the PC version.
I got into the weekend stress test and you can be sure I'll be playing a ton but I'm really hoping to get a permanent beta invitation so I can familiarize myself with the characters on PC before making the Xbox One version my permanent Overwatch home.
Can't wait to give it a shot this weekend.

This is not confirmed by Blizzard, but seems to be consistent with their policy and what users here are reporting.
Once your email arrives, that will confirm it one way or another as well.

Likely a very small number though, given it's for permanent access, not weekend access. I'm still not flagged over here.

I got in as well, though it looks like it's limited to the weekend stress test for me. Better than nothing of course, and I look forward to playing it a bunch in the next few days.
As far as competitive FPS goes, I've always been mostly a Quake guy, and I like a lot about how Overwatch approaches and rewards good movement and aim. It's also heartening to see a lot of the older Quake pros getting into and enjoying the game.
