what are the 360 & PS3 number in UK? is PS3 that close?

I don't think so. But Mass Effect hasn't sold really well in Europe. It's been on the bottom of the charts since it's been released IIRC.

Last I checked it was a success despite EU shortcomings. If anything a port would be a good thing for EA Bioware.

It sure does, it just struck me as a very odd statement to make about the first quiet sales week of the year, where new releases are traditionally not released and sales have generally finished.

Actually that doesn't make sense at all. It's optical media. There should not be extended shortages, it's 2008 and the game isn't THAT popular.

They are likely to be planning heavy rotation TV ads for the M&S DS game out in 2/3 weeks. Seems SEGAs strategy is to flood the channel with the Wii version and the DS version at the same time to reclaim the all formats number one.

Not saying it makes good business sense to me (sold = sold) but it will help the traditionally slow start of DS game sales from the first weekend if the Wii version sells for the whole of the week too.

Personally I think they could be cannibalizing the DS games sales, but as it seems to be not hampering other Wii game sales Nintendo can't be too upset.

Uncharted passed 100k in UK few weeks ago, thats all we know... UK is around 33% of European market, do the numbers...

Its been 5 weeks on norwegian top 20 console list. I have no idea how this list works or how much this means tho, or how many copies thats been sold there, but atleast its within top 20

It's been in the french charts since its release.

It doesn't appear on the Spanish, Italian, Irish, German, and Swedish charts (evidently it has on the Norwegian chart), so my point stands; extrapolating Uncharted sales to the rest of Europe based on market size when mainland Europe appears less interested in the title doesn't make much sense.

Thats french week 50 The one i posted was from week 51. For some reason the french chart is alittle delayed compared to the UK/Ireland chart. I just wanted to show you that it had risen abit in France too since you said you hadnt seen any numbers from France in weeks. I'm not trying to prove you wrong since its true that its not easy to know how well its doing in other countries without some solid numbers.
