So, the other night, I was in my local game store, looking for some vintage games, and I happened upon this treasure:

The game is called PaQa, as you can tell from the photo. It seems to involve a disgruntled autonomous pocketstation.

Here's what it says under the title on the cover:

"This is kind of a big adventure story
You'll think he is an alien.
Unfortunately he is not your friend.
Good I hope."

I didn't pick up this diamond in the rough, purely because I don't have a pocketstation, and it looked like you need one to really enjoy the game. Has anyone ever heard of this game, or played it?

280 yen? I'd have bought it just because.

I've seen this one for sale on eBay and on yamatoku's site, and so on. It looks like part of that microgenre of "games for your Pocketstation" that popped up in the late PSX years. If you've got a Pocketstation...well...go for it! But I guess you don't, so it's probably best left alone.
