Yep, they had to go physical on Xbox 360 and PS3 because the game was apparently too large and resource intensive to be a purely digital release.

Only the host needed the paid dlc for everyone to play the levels.

PAYDAY 2 has sold 1.58 million copies.

Together with publisher 505 Games Starbreeze can today present sales figures for PAYDAY 2.

After a month in stores the game has sold 1.58 million copies physically and digitally.

It is noteworthy that 80% of these copies were sold digitally. Starbreezes digital strategy is shown to be continually successful.

"As chart-topper on both Steam (PC) and Playstation Network during August we can conclude that PAYDAY 2 is an established brand" said Bo Andersson CEO of Starbreeze AB.

In Canada, digital was the only way you could get it for a week or two because the games were recalled because the packaging wasn't bilingual.

This is why Canada can't have nice things... Seriously French Canadians are asses.

Strange. I couldn't find it with bing search either. Go to Games>Browse Games>On Demand>P>PAYDAY 2 to find it.

I bought my copy via Games on Demand on Xbox Live the 2nd Friday after it was released.

Its not like L4D at all. Its more like Killing Floor with objectives and optional stealth.
