Is the port at the end of the Xbone controller Micro USB or is something proprietary?
Micro USB.

So...what's better, xbone or 360 controller? Also, no wireless for the xbone controller as of yet, right?
PC gamers get to learn that the 360 controller is better.
Seems too timely.

If you use a USB cable, data is sent via USB. There's no difference anymore.
You can use a normal micro usb cable.

It uses micro USB so any micro USB connector will workBut there aren't any wired controllers out yet, are there? Only the Play and Charge kit ones, right?
How much better is the dpad? That would be my only reason to dump my 360 pad. That useless thing wasnt even good enough for changing weapons in dark souls. It would be nice not to have to dig out and configure my saturn pad for 2D games.
So plugging in a micro-usb cable should work fine? It's not exclusive to some play and charge kit?
WHERE IS THIS FROM THO
No. Different wireless spec.
Awesome, cheers.Yep, Sony and Microsoft both made the wise choice of making their new controllers able to communicate and charge over standard micro-USB.
So is this the recommended PC controller now? I've had zero issues with my wired 360 pad since I got it like 5 years ago, is it worth getting a XBO or even a PS4 controller just because they're 'newer'?
It's pretty great in KI, if I remember correctly.hows the dpad for fighting games btw?
