If we don't like the stereotype, we can change ourselves, our policies, etc. And I think that does happen . . . as many people have pointed out, the British teeth thing is really an outdated meme in reality.

And if one really hates the stereotype, you can move to another nation. You can't change your race or ethnicity.

Eh, I really can't agree with using choice alone to excuse small-mindedness. Besides, you can't choose where you're born and changing nationality is not a trivial matter.

We ideally use those for "peace keeping" missions... and Afghanistan was sold to us as a peace-keeping mission in the interest of the world (whether or not "peace-keeping" is just jargon for the usual war, or whether it applies in the case of Afghanistan, is a matter of lefty debate).

When it came to the Iraq war, which we didn't see as peace-keeping... we said "hell no" we aren't participating.

I'd be willing to argue that if your basis is on the definition of ethnicity then you have to take into account that people have the possibility to identify with each other through a common heritage but they do not need to include the examples.

If we want to get really specific, the term race is a misnomer since every human is from the same race Homo Sapien.

I always just hear the joke that Canadians are always overtly polite.

Exactly, race is a combination of ethnicity, culture, heritage and, to be quite frank, physical appearance. It's a combination of everything. I took a lot of diversity classes while in college (professors were really easy), and they felt uncomfortable even using the word "race" because it connotes only negative feelings. Technically, the word doesn't even really mean anything in particular. However, people tend to use it solely to point out physical differences between groups.

I think the term "race" is racist. In part because I'm not sure what race actually means. Both Indians and East Asians are considered Asian yet they have nothing in common phenotypically other than a propensity for dark hair and eyes (although northern Indians fairly regularly have blue eyes).

The bag remains in the pourer, and you use a clip to close the opening. Aside from cost, there is no advantage to bagged milk compared to cartons. You waste fridge space storing extra bags that don't stack, and it is difficult to pour with one hand.
