Yeah that's what i was thinking, mine is more wishful thinking that they drop the obligatory romance for at least one of the girls in favor of a more interesting group dynamic.
Also, since we're talking about relationships, it would be cool if this time you're actually committed to a girl and the rest of the cast acknowledges it.

I just want the relationship mechanics to be more consistent across all the scenarios in the game. In P4 and P3, even if you get with a girl, they don't acknowledge it outside of the premade 'romantic' scenarios.

It would be extra work for many of the variables, but it would put a good spin on things i think.

Someone actually already guessed this as a theory on youtube months ago ironically. he thought though that the stalker had to be on the track team..even though he guessed correctly that it was from the school and apart of sports specifically

I'm actually interested in playing this game. It looks so ridiculously stylish and cool.

I haven't played a RPG since FF 10 and 12. Guess I kinda grew out of them, but I'm willing to give Persona 5 a shot. I looks almost like playing a well-produced anime.

Dont have to know anything about the others, so jump in..although P3 is a good game, and P4 is even better IMO

Beat you to it. People love to joke that Atlus forgot about P1 and P2, so it's interesting for them to bring these types back! They aren't in other Megaten games, just Persona.

Yeah. If anything it's just Atlus's marketing people that tend to ignore P1 and 2 (although with the anniversary even that's been better lately). Their devs seem to have plenty of respect for those games. Good stuff.

God, everything looks so slick and stylish. Really digging the new character designs too. I was kinda losing hype with the very slow lack of info/release date, but I guess they manage to pull me back lol.

I really hope we see an NA release this year, but I'm guessing that might be a bit too optimistic. At least I know it's coming and I'm sure it'll be great.

yes, 100% agreed. Also would like post-maxed link relationship arc. So sad when Mitsuru and then Naoto romantic arcs were done and I was left w/ generic and repetitive blushing affirmations for the rest of their respective games.

Another possible mechanic return from Persona 1-EP?

This makes me very happy. Not that Persona 3 & 4's combat system was bad, just a bit too simplistic and easy for regular battles to become monotonous. Say what you will about the earlier games, at least their regular encounters presented a challenge, namely in Persona 1 where enemies would constantly stick charm status on you and cause your party to fight one another instead of, you know, the enemy.

Oh yes, there was definitely something lacking in 3&4 if you played the ones before it. As a whole tho, the games have changed for the better.

They do a little in P4G after you hit certain points, but only the smallest bit.

It would be great if they were intertwined with the story in a more comprehensive way, it's the natural evolution of them IMO.

I used to think 7 deadly sins was kinda overdone, but I haven't seen it in a while, so sure, I'll take it. Kind of takes away the surprise of future bosses, while giving us just enough to theorize and pint fingers at people we deem suspicious.

It's almost certainly Shigenori Soejima, who also did the portraits in P2/P3/P4 and is the art director/character designer for this game. Kushinov's definitely adopted a bit of Soejima's style in his art, though.

I thought the cat demon was a sphinx, since it was in the Egypt themed world. I assume it will have to do with the hacker smart girl's "enemy" since sphinxes are supposed to be all-knowing. Just a guess, of course.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't like the way the battle ends. Don't get me wrong, I'm not appose to the idea of showing post-battle data after the transition, but those pops up are so big I think I will need to stand still and wait for them to go away from my screen. If they can just make those pops up smaller, than it will be the coolest post-battle data presentation ever.

Exactly! Have a "new game+" of romantic relationship! It doesn't have to be 10 levels, but it should be really more complex than "you've gotten as close to this person as possible", relationships dont work like that.

They already teased it by adding more scenarios for P4G compared to the original P4 and more upgrades for your Personas respectively

I feel like that has to do with most of the other personae being legacy demons inherited from SMT.

It would probably be an inhuman amount of work, but it would be cool if they revamped the lineup of other persona options to fall more in line with your starter, while keeping strong fan favorites like Jack Frost and the like at some point in the series.

I loved the existential problems of teenagers in P3/4, but the darker twists adults had in 4 where much more appealing.
Hoping we get both, this seems a good start.
