Mitra might be a boss again. (He was a boss in Strange Journey)

Hmmm I used Izanagi the whole way through P4G without problems

Chance Time and Skill Cards made doing that way more viable in P4G - it was tremendously less possible in the PS2 version, where Chance Time only netted you Personas (no stat increases) and Skill Cards didn't exist.

If this game comes out several months later or next year in the US, I'll just import the JPN version. I can read/understand a little japanese(I'm playing Chrono Trigger and P4G in JPN) so that'll hold me over.

I just realised fox mask guys has a sword/katana hes definitely staying in the party.

Nice hopefully they follow that

The short hair girl is so good. Apparently she's the "student council president" and that motorcycle scene is such a nice callback to Mitsuru. Prophecy said she will end the Waifu War once and for all for the whole gaming industry.

I want to see more interaction between the party members. By that I mean the protagonist should not be a part of everything. Give other guys some chance. Had I been allowed to do that, I'd have seen Chie and Yosuke become a couple. I can already feel it happening in the trailer. Follow your heart Atlus, you know you want "social net" instead of just "social links". Please make it happen.

I actually kept Izanagi in vanilla P4 through the entire game.

My friend, the Waifu Wars are merely beginning as they always are, as have the Husbando Clashes.

Also she's actually the student council president? Was hoping she'd just be a cool girl on her own but okay.

Loving the new character, especiall the short haired girl. I'm a sucker for those badass type female personalities. Gives me the erection of the century. Cannot wait to see more at E3, is the same person doing the music for this game the same one from Persona 4?

The glasses chick looks like pure /v/ focus-tested waifu bait.

Kind of like my most hated character in Danganronpa 2 for that reason, Chiaki Nanami:
But I'm liking Sakura way more from the little we've seen. Possibly because she will have her own deep-seated issues and problems which will be tackled (potentially related to her being a shut-in), which does a lot for a character instead of just being "one-dimensional cool nerdy chick."

I caught the word in PV04, 1:25. I don't speak Japanese, mind you, but I'm pretty sure that word means "student council president". My years of experience in anime has granted me the confidence.

BTW, to say she will end the Waifu War in the industry is hyperbolic, but I do believe she will end the war inside my heart. I have a thing for anime short hair girl, and if she is one year older, it would be perfect.

All Danganronpa characters look like porn fanart of actual anime characters that don't exist imo.

Are we pretending there are female characters in Persona that are not waifu bait?

Er, the vast majority of them, yes. If they were as superficial and pathetic as being conceived for the purposes of "waifu bait," none of them would be good characters. It's not because people need to constantly refer to a neat female character as their "waifu" that others can't appreciate them for just being neat.

Just some fun, that's all. I don't really have a "waifu" or a care for stuff like that. But I do like neat characters with themes I could discuss.

I tried to play Persona on PS1 circa 1997. I didn't get very far.

I watched my ex-wife play P3 and P4 a few minutes here and there. Thought they looked mildly interesting but was never all that tempted to play them myself.

I bought the P1 PSP remake when it came out and was pretty excited about making a fresh start. But I didn't get very far. Still, I later also picked up the P2 PSP remake, and my own copies of P3 and P4. It's not really an issue of backlog, I play what I want when I want. I just never seem to want to play them. There's definitely something about them, though...

Well, there's your problem - You started with P1 and 2. Their gameplay haven't aged well at all, unfortunately (Even though the P2 duology has one of the greatest stories in an RPG imo). P3 and 4 (usually 4) are considered the best starting points, and only those who REALLY like the series are recommended to go back to P1 and 2; and even then, not many get far with those 2 games. Hell, I love Persona to death, I didn't play more than a few hours of 1, only played 2/3 of P2 Innocent Sin, and just watched an LP of P2 EP since the PSP remake of it was never localized.

If you're interested in this game, you can always start with 5, go to 3, then 4, and then 1 and 2 if you REALLY want to.

Just jump straight to P4. P1 is trash.
