I feel like this one holds your hand a lot longer, but the story it's telling is just so much more interesting, at least to start. I'm only at the start of the second month. Don't wanna oversell it, but yeah, far more interesting intro.

Ehhh....there's hand holding... and there's Skyward Sword level of bad handholding. I don't think you'll be interrupted every second (like Fi) just to learn every mechanic in the game... I'm sure you'll be fine.

If Yoko Taro and Guerrilla Games's last effort are at 89 meta, then I don't see how 86 for Persona 5 is aiming little high.

I will be shocked if it's lower than 89.

I remember Nier being a good game, when it was 90 on MC, then a bad game, when it went down to 89... then good again.. then bad again.

Now it will be bad for ever. 89 is a disgrace. i hope you bought it while it was at 90, that is the only way to justify the purchase.

I sincerly hope most people played Zelda when it was still a masterpiece at 98, now at 97 it feels rather dull :/

You should play the original PS2 Persona 4 for the superior Chie and Teddie VA's.

We have to clarify this though. Is the MC score at the time of ordering important? The time you start playing it or is the MC score the game has when you finished it the real deal?

I ordered P5 long before there were any reviews up, now it's sitting at a comfortable 100, so if I imagine I ordered it just now then I am in for a treat

Gameplay wise, those games are much more mainstream than Persona. Also, both of them did something fresh and new (at least for their respective developers), while Persona 5 is just more of the same but better.

Don't get me wrong. I'll happily eat crow if the game manages to do 90+. I just don't think that's possible right now.

If the game has a MC score when you order it, then that's what matters. If t doesn't and you just pre-ordered it before hand, then the MC score when you first play the game matters. Just wait till it has a 90+ score on MC before starting it. Start it then, and you'll be good afterwards.

I bought a cheap PSTV just so I can play P4G with an undub patch after henkaku came out. I also had to beat it before P5 comes out.
