Looking at them side-to-side, it's interesting that The Phantom has dilated pupils with a circle around them. As far as I know, Soejima didn't really use that look for normal human characters until Persona Q, and prior to that it was reserved for the androids.

Considering all of the characters (Sho included) were the only characters to have those eyes outside the chibi look, I wonder if the Plume of Dusk is involved somehow. That's the only real commonality between Aigis, Labrys, Sho, and the other robots, but that'd mean The Phantom could've been a test subject.
