Physical as much as I can. I like to collect games, always have, and probably always will. Digital is just not the same as having a boxed copy. This goes for movies too. It's only music I'm all digital.
becos of C19 , digital is more cost saving for me and shipping overseas to my place is expensive and for some games i will wait for a digital sale for 50% or more
some older games or remastered games which a $70 price tag are reduced to $10
i do have some PS4 physical games that i bought in the past but most likely i will get a disc drive ps5 in 2023 or later
Last digital game I bought was death stranding at release. Maintaining a digital library is much more convenient. And going forward digital will be better supported for back compat.
If there is a physical release I will get it. If it's digital only, then digital. If it's a digital game that eventually gets a physical release and I like it, I will buy both.
Cheaper (PS Store prices are insane in Sweden)
I can borrow and lend games
I can resell games
I like having a physical collection (I still buy music in physical format too)
I like to have physical games (if available) for titles that are (to me) all-time classics - just a sort of keepsake for special gaming experiences, my own curated "gaming hall of fame".
I really think I'm going to do a hybrid approach going forward after reading everyone's responses. Digital is much more convenient, easy to manage, but there may be those games I want physically for a special release or I want to get signed.
A friend had a break in and they stole nearly all his games--this also has leaning more towards digital.
