Here is my blog: http://gattsu25.blogspot.com/

Only posted a few times on it. Mainly used it as a place to store my GAF writing challenge short stories.

Thinking about returning to writing. I already wrote a short story last week that was just for the fun of it and may be putting that up on the blog, soon.

Well I can't imagine anyone would really visit, but this is the blog of me and my development team! We're working on a small retro DOS style platformer called 'Theres No Place Like Homeless' - it'll be completed in the next few months and will be free to download for PC and the iPhone App Store.

It's a new blog so not much progress yet (made the switch from Wordpress to Blogspot) but I also update the blog with indie games that catch my eye. Me and the programmer are the only ones posting updates at the moment!

Extraguy.com

We write about games. Surprise.

I love being a tiny fish in a gigantic ocean.

Someone hire me... please...

lol

That feature is awesome, but you are going to kill someone with that first challenge D:

Well this week I get to live the dream!

Since I've never seen the movie, gonna try and goad some friends into doing it with me.

EDIT also has anyone used the html 5 audio player jplayer?

EDIT EDIT thanks to everyone for the feedback. im going to stick with what i have for now

I Miss Bionix, a hub for Canadian anime news (because at the moment there isn't any one else covering this niche), top 10's, and remembering the better times. Currently it's a bit low rent, but things will improve.

sooooo i started a blog. and im not quite sure what direction to go in. or if its too girly or not. maybe gaf can help me out! please and thank you =]

blogggg.

Umm, more cleavage. You really don't have anything there(on the site, not your chest...that's fine :D )...I enjoyed the song and the clock was intriguing as it's 4 minutes behind the actual time. I change my computer's clock to your time and your blog clock goes back 4 minutes more...strange.

Thanks man – do you have your own blog I can check out?

Yep, posted earlier in the thread, but more links can never hurt:

http://www.platypotamus.com - a game blog, but not reviews really. More like me as a designer talking about what inspires me, or the way I think about games, or what I learn from a game, or kind of whatever.

EDIT:

I'm thinking about creating a blog, anyone have any suggestions as to what site to use?

Wordpress is really easy to use, and super customizable, particularly if you install it onto your own hosted server if you've got your own domain name. Lots of great plugins for it too, which you can freely install, usually with a single click (and sometimes with some settings to configure afterwards).

Cool style on the art. I dig it.

Re-posting my blog because I've changed its focus. I'm going to be teaching English in Vietnam for a year, so I'm chronicling my experience here as well as photography from my travels.

Put some effort into this one but wanted to share.

Justice League The Musical with some samples of the show from Broadway

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I've really been enjoying following your blog. I found its link in here just in time to catch your post saying that you were going to be posting from Vietnam soon, and I thought that sounded interesting so I subscribed. I was right, it's been great.

Now, I could use some feedback from yous guys if yous don't minds. I was looking at my main page today (http://www.platypotamus.com/), and noticed that some of my longer entries (scroll down until you start seeing a lot of minecraft images for the first culprit) really take up a lot of space. I am thinking about making it a habit to hide some of the longer posts behind a "more" link, so that the front page can be used more for seeing what's new, and then interested users would have to click on the longer entries to see them in their entirety. I couldn't decide if that click was more annoying than the long entries jamming up the front page though. What do you guys think?

I much prefer the "more" option. It makes the page feel more even and stuff.

Also especially with some of your blogs, hard to tell when some begin and end due to the page just going.

That's not in English, but I don't need to be able to read it to understand the awesome of the Bender-riding-a-giant-owl bench. Where in the world is that?

Thanks Platypotamus, glad to hear at least someone is reading my stuff. :lol

I really like the cleanness of your blog and the contrasting colours make everything easy to read.

Does anyone know how long it takes for your blog to show up on google or search engines? My blogs been up and running for over a month now and its still not coming up when I search for it on google.

Weird I think ours was up within the first week or so.

Finally installed a stat tracker, and its nice to see some of the terms people find you with.

So far my favorite is "hairy nerd" and "turtles shark rip-off"

my photo blog that's been up for a year now. been busy recently updating the design a little. do you guys thing that top menu that is fixed when scrolling is going to cause problems from a normal users point of view? Or is it just distracting? I myself like it since i dont have to scroll back up or down to change pages.

If you're a wordpress blog, double check the privacy settings in the admin panel, and make sure you're allowing it to be indexed by search engines.

If it's another type of blog, there might be a similar setting, otherwise you may have to create a robots.txt file.

I don't remember how long the original indexing took, but a new entry of mine will be google-able the same day it's posted. My entry from today is the second result when I search for 'red dead redemption greet button'

It's in it's early stages and the layout isn't final but this me and my friends group blog, it's pretty basic and most of the posts are childish insults at each other.

http://chickencoopblog.wordpress.com/

Edit: My posts are under Anthony Stagg, any critisim is welcome (i'm pretty sure all posts are filled with grammer and spelling errors)

Can anyone recommend a clean, elegant wordpress theme for a photography-centric blog? Mine was fine when it was videogame themed but isn't cutting it for travel photography. Too messy and the post width isn't big enough to display photos nicely.

Currently on the road (in Cambodia) but I'll check in whenever I can so any help is appreciated.

Won't spam links, but finally got around to watching Street Fighter: The Movie under our drinking rules, and posted the results on the site.

Was a good time, and can't wait for more.
