Play-Asia newly discounted items

I know the answer is probably simple, but what is the difference between the JPN and ASIA versions of those games? Language differences? Will only play in certain machines? Nothing at all?

Asian versions gamewise are usually identical to the Japanese ones. Japanese menus and such unless it's a really special game like SotC where it gets the full translation.

The instruction manuals are in Chinese however and I think they have a quick start guide which translates the menu. I guess it depends on the game. Asian versions are also the same territory as the Japanese PS2, so you can play them only on those units (Unless your machine is modded or whatever)

DAMMIT...they had me excited for a minute....

The winner of the 360's initials matched mine and from the US and order number very close to mine.

Got my hopes up for a second.

Who wants a play-asia $5 coupon? (Must spend over $50) The catch is it expires today.

First PM shall receive.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up. Much appreciated. :)

Not always. Every asian version I've gotten has had the game and manual in Japanese, and the quick start guide is in Chinese and English.

Arg. I just dropped nearly three bills on Play Asia last night (Ouendan, Daigasso, Daigasso update, Byte Hell 2000, Ooedo Senryoubako, The Block Kuzushi, Space Invaders Galaxy Beat, Space Invaders Pocket), WHERE WERE YOUR COUPONS THEN???
