It means I will create a PSN account and if someone donates the beta code to me I will redeem it on the account I create which will let me download the firmware then I will give the email and password to someone else who needs the firmware as it is attached to that account.

Yeah, the firmware isn't tied to 2 activations like purchased software, so you can technically login to ANY PS4 and download it on your account. Hence how if you own, 2/3+ PS4s, you can get the beta on them all. It basically requires a burner account and GAF members to play ball and not muck around with the password. If you share to registered members that shouldn't happen, just don't post publicly.

Obviously, it's breaking NDA... but look at the internet right now, nowhere ISN'T breaking NDA lol. Probably to the annoyance of places like DF lol, but journalism has a million more perks than gamers getting to beta test a FW!

emails were being sent out yesterday so if u havent gotten an email yet gonna have to wait a while til the 2nd wave of emails are sent out and hope you got one

I have had no such luck with my main US account which I signed up for days ago. Having said that, are these codes region locked in any way? Could I use the code on my US PSN account?

Region locked, must be redeemed on a region equivalent account.
