Yeah I'm sticking to the oficial livestream. It's in the evening here so as some other years I might get together with friends for some E3 BBQ with Beers.
I always like to check out the Easy Allies stream the next day though, or their post conference reactions
3am where I am, every damn year.11am on a Tuesday, such an awful time. Wish it were 11pm or better yet held on a weekend.
I think the games that have impressed me the most probably have been Overwatch and rainbow six siege mainly because of ongoing support and bringing something different to the table.I honestly I'm very happy with this gen especially we are getting more quality Japanese games this gen compare to PS3/360 and we recently got GOW that was so god damn good and I still DQXI, VC4 and KHIII I can look forward to. I also love that this gen people are not as obsessive about realstic graphics as used to in PS3/360. Maybe have crazy standard of what will impress you.
I'm exactly opposite. games like Overwatch, PUBG and Fortnite just bores me to tears just thinking about them. In 2017 my love for JRPG even grown stronger thanks to games like NieR Automata, Persona 5 and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 it will grow stronger with games like DQXI, VC4, KHIII and Octopath Traveler. Playing games like GOW it didn't feel like playing recycle content but if we are talking about games from EA, Ubisoft and Activation then I would agree with you.I think the games that have impressed me the most probably have been Overwatch and rainbow six siege mainly because of ongoing support and bringing something different to the table.
I have played a lot titles this gen but not a lot of JRPG ( too be honest kind of burned out on that genre although I did play star ocean which was mediocre). I think I just feel like this gen feels more like an enhanced version of last gen with much less content and much more recycled content.
So is it likely that Sony would announce PS5 at E3 next year then launch 4 - 5 months later or are we looking at a 2020 release? What do people think?Shawn Layden says no new hardware at this E3, not in terms of consoles or anything else. He also says that the event will be mainly to show off those 4 already announced Sony games, with third party announcements and indie stuff.
It honestly sounds like we shouldn't be expecting any new games from Sony themselves at E3.
Sounds like Last of Us Part 2 is getting a massive showing though, so that's cool.

That good to hear. I'm currently very happy with PS4 and its games and I don't really need to see PS5 anytime soon.Shawn Layden says no new hardware at this E3

If Sony aren't going to announce anything new first party this E3 then I assume they're winding down this gen. So yeah, next E3 sounds reasonable. Though I expect a October - december 2019 release rather than a end of year 2020 one.So is it likely that Sony would announce PS5 at E3 next year then launch 4 - 5 months later or are we looking at a 2020 release? If Sony only show four first party games , i suspect that means the PS5 Will be released 2019. and they will wind down with this generation with this four first party games ( maybe not Death Stranding )
what about gamescom / paris games week or TGS?
99% it will be a PS Meeting as Sony are a creature of habit/tradition in general. Especially when something works/is a success.
I think theirs a good chance they’ll use PSX as the new PlayStation Meeting forum.
Late 2020 release with God of War 2 (5), GT7 and ND other team game as launch titles. That's my bet.So is it likely that Sony would announce PS5 at E3 next year then launch 4 - 5 months later or are we looking at a 2020 release? What do people think?
How so? System came out like 6 years ago or so. We can expect a new system soon. That being said I'll prob skip if it doesn't do backwards compat, lack of cell chip means this can be done unless Sony tries to mess up something even MS is on board with.I fucking hope not!!! 2019 is too god damn soon for PS5.
2020 is a safe bet. But as to launch titles - Horizon 2, I'm calling it (Guerrilla already did a launch title for PS4, as lame as it was, so they are not exactly strangers to working with new hardware). GoW is possible too. GT - hah, who knows when the next one will come. And ND, naah, they don't just work that fast.Late 2020 release with God of War 2 (5), GT7 and ND other team game as launch titles. That's my bet.
Possibly for the likes of WiLD, Dreams, Days Gone and the blowout of Spider-Man? Might be smaller scale games but not new, big AAA games from Sony. There is the rumoured RaySpace but that still seems to be a riddle, wrapped in a mystery at this point.

Don't know if there is a link yet.link please?
Im guessing live.playstation.com, thats what they are using for everything now.Don't know if there is a link yet.
But in recent years they've had oficial Youtube and Twitch Streams, and based on the post on the PS blog this year will be the same. I'm sure the link will be available a few days before the conference
Wow, Medieval?
