Well bummer, only 1 location in Michigan? That'd be a hour and a half drive for me so I'll just stay home and watch it. lol

3am CEST again, really annoying when you can't take off the day after.

Europe is an important market for them, would be nice to schedule the conference time a few hours earlier...

Microsoft is at 12:30
Ubisoft is at 4:00
Sony is at like 8:00

Europe has its own expo, as does Japan and Asia.

During other companies' conferences? eeehh yeah they won't.

And you have like several European game shows.

Noooo, they took Fargo, ND off the list from last year. In fact, there's nothing in ND listed.... Bummer, it was a lot of fun last year.

Wow there is one in Trenton, NJ. I may end up going as that is a short drive from me, I could get home from work, take care of everything I normally do and get ready to go out and still have time to get a drink beforehand. Anyone else here planning on hitting up the Hamilton 24?

I'm still deciding if I want to go or not. I went last year and loved the conference and quality on the screen was great. However I missed not being on both Twitter and GAF while watching the conference to see others reactions especially since the Hawaii audience was pretty quite in the theater. I'll likely still try grab a ticket for me and my bro though.

Me and my friend are debating on it. It's pretty much a "if we get tickets then we figure it out". Nobody really wants to drive from Metro Detroit to Lansing.

Me and a friend will be in LA that day, so I might be able to attend one of these! Only issue is I'm hearing the LA imax is kinda small and usually sells out pretty fast. :/

Seems pointless Imo. Also doesn't the theater get the same stream/live issues everyone else gets sometimes?

Why is it pointless? If it wasn't a success Sony would not be doing it for the third year, it creates buzz and word of mouth. Have you ever watched a movie at home then the theatre? They are not the same experience.

Hey I was wondering, did some theaters provide free snacks and drinks? My friend in Canada went to one which they did but mine didn't. ;___;

Hope they bring this over to the UK, that would be so awesome but I am guessing they can't due to the timing in the UK of the show :( watching it live at home it is then.

announced it 1 day before it happens? and i'll be busy at work? guess i'll have to disappear and find a computer and hope for the best. See yall at Century City, Los Angeles, CA next month! (i hope)

I can't wait to go for my third time, luckily I have work in the evening so I will be able to snag some tickets right when they drop :D

At the Toronto showing we all got a free regular size pop and popcorn

Perfect. I was hoping they would do it again. I guess Buffalo is drawing a big enough crowd for 3 years in a row. I will be there.

Nothing will top last year.

It was an incredible moment to experience with all the PS fans.

May go again this year but will be tougher this year schedule wise.

Hey I was wondering, did some theaters provide free snacks and drinks?

I've heard varying things, but ultimately it seems like it's up to the venue's management. I wonder if Sony has a small line item per theater for a limited amount of comped concessions like drinks?

Speaking of drinks, SF's theater is a stone's throw from some decent watering holes, so I'll go on record as saying I'll buy a round for a few attending GAFers that want a post-conference pint. Good way to kick off the week.

Yeah that's a bit of a drive. lol

Not sure why they didn't have more considering the one in Ann Arbor, Rave Cinemark, is a nice big updated theater thats also 15 minutes away for me lol or even any of the Emagines or AMC theaters.

I wonder how functional the website will be when the tickets go live. That's always been rough, but I've managed to grab tickets each year so far.

It's fun to watch, of course. I love games, and it's how I make my living, but I don't think the emphasis placed on E3 is healthy.

Hopefully in time the rest of us will see the error of our ways and avoid unhealthy free social events focused on a hobby we enjoy, and instead, take up more healthy activities like making cynical and condescending posts in threads about events we have no interest in.

Luckily I have no work tomorrow, that's pretty convenient. I will be attending the one in Metrotown in Burnaby. Hopefully the Sony Representative that I know that works in the Vancouver area can get some extra tickets for my friends as well

NYC-GAF, how was the Times Square showing? Do they use the IMAX theater for it? I've been going to the Union Square one the past two years but would consider switching things up.
