I got the last two at my local event. I know because a co-worker came over and said they were sold out as I was looking at my confirmation screen. pheeeewww.

Sincere thanks to everyone here who pointed out there was a 1:30 wave.

Didn't make it initially (15 minutes of error messages, then "sold out" at both locations near me), so really excited to have checked back and gotten in. :)

Have any Canadians been able to register due to this stupid "ZIP is invalid" bs?

My younger brother (16, turns 17 in two months) got passes for himself and some 17 year old friend by bumping his birth year back to '98. He's concerned on whether or not they'll check his birthday very closely on his driver's license and kick him out. I told him I have no clue since I haven't been to this event before.

Anyone know what they'll do to him so he can just go ahead in without a fuss or is there no chance because they do some thorough checks?

Just registered. That was way smoother than last year. Even better, I forgot to do it when it first started. They must've fixed things on the back end.

It says very clearly they check ID at door. 17+ only.

As long as he looks 18 and they don't check his birthday he should be fine.

Okay so I did actually get it, got the confirmation email for 2 general seats.

How fucking strange. Internal error -> sold out -> available again 34 minutes later...

They checked IDs last year.

They definitely check ID. Better hope the person who checks isn't paying attention, JigglesBunny.
Yeah, I told him he's got slim chances and his best bet is to cover up the last part of the birth year on his license, haha.

Thanks for the replies guys, I think he's going to try his luck anyways. He's stubborn lol.

REFRESHING SUCCESS

Got our 6 tickets for Toronto. See y'all there! I'll try and scream out GAF again and hopefully people will reply this year....lol

Scroll down to the bottom and click Canadian flag! You should then see the only 5 Canadian theatres. No Zip!

I was using the correct link but my stupid phone autocorrect kept putting a space at the end of the ZIP which is why it wasn't working. Thanks for the advice though!

Was registering for NYC when it went up, but quickly realized I'd probably rather watch it at home. Should be a good time for those going though.

Pittsburgh GAF we did it! I was able to re-register with general seating. Bless you patience and perseverance! Yeahhhhh girl FF7 HYPE LETS GOOOOOOO

Woof, managed to get two tickets for Cincinnati after all; we doing a Google Doc to keep track of meet-up plans again this year?

San Diego like last year or LA which is a whole lot closer. Decisions. Decisions.

Glad to not have to drive so far this year.

Wait, if my brother's friend (17) shows his ID since they're under the same order, they should probably wave my brother (16) ahead with him too, right?

I remember back in high school doing the same thing to sneak into R rated movies, lol

Nope, they check both ID's.

It's possible, but I remember both mine and my girlfriend's ID getting checked each of the past two years. Didn't think much of it because we're a good bit above 17, but it's definitely a gamble in terms of how vigilant the individuals at your particular location are. Hoping they both get in, though!

It was the same last year. It is not that strange when you think about it. They have a 30min timer for each session, 1 gazillion of people hammer their servers with F5 and requesting tickets, 80% of them fail to complete registration because of the DoS-equivalent state the servers are in. All those sessions/tickets get stuck in limbo until they get released 30 min later...when the server load is much smaller (after some people just giving up)

All hail Michigan and the lack of people willing to drive to Lansing
Got my tickets at 1:58 casually. My boss called me into a meeting at 1 >.>
