RE5, MAG and heavy rain demo use the nav/DS3Jtrizzy said:Are there any games that use the nav controller?
Just buy the full version. It's a better game with Move, it feels like it was made for it.Animator said:I like that the planet minigolf demo even though listed under ps move section does not support move in the demo.
Congrats to the devs!
I hope most game that comes out will have move compatibility.innervision961 said:Can I have portal 2 for with move compatibility? That would be so sweet.
Animator said:I am glad I got the navigation controller actually. It is a joy to play RE5 with it, I did not find using ds3 with one hand while its resting on your lap thing comfortable at all.
Sphere goes orange or blue depending if you're about to shoot a entry or exit portal.innervision961 said:Can I have portal 2 with move compatability? That would be so sweet.
Smokey said:I don't get it either. I held the DS3 in my hand and the Move in my right earlier and it didn't feel all that comfortable. I can only imagine it after some extended use.
I got my Nav controller for $15 though (even though I have no game to use it)...so maybe I'm a little biased lol
How long did it take you to get used to RE5 and the move controls? I watched the Move IGN preview of RE5 and it looked weird :/
A.R.K said:Tumble demo: WOW!!! what the hell that IGN guy was smoking?? ... The 1:1 interaction is insane. The only thing I noticed is that I played better while standing as my cam is on top of the tv and probably have to move it down to play sitting. I will be buying this for sure in the morning. Can some one answer this: is the full version's tracking even better than the demo (I did have some calibration issue)?
For those having problem playing this game try to adjust cam height and also when calibrating keep controller as close to your body as you can.
TheExecutive said:They need to add in new calibration techniques, like foolproof ones. However, I dont know how they would do that...
In any case pointing at the screen without a pointer and then pressing the T button and using that as calibration just isnt a good solution.
One nice touch is how you twist your wrist 90 degrees to the left or right to flip your Plasma Cutters firing plane from horizontal to vertical, which can help you find the ideal angle for snipping off arms, legs, tentacles, and other protrusions of the vile Necromorphs. There are other weapons, of course, including a Rivet Gun and a Force Gun. The wrist twist will activate these alternate fire modes as well
Using the PlayStation Move, you fire your current weapon with the T button (aka the trigger). Pressing the Move button activates a quick Telekinesis blast, which you can use to pick up ammo and items hidden throughout the environments or use to hurl objects at the marauding Necromorphs. Its your choice! Melee attacks are gesture based: you press and hold Circle, then rapidly slash back and forth to fend off nearby Necromorphs. Melee isnt much use for inflicting damage, so think of it more as a way to dissuade nearby enemies

ConradCervantes said:I've heard some talk about the Move being best played in a larger space, a living room or rec room. Is this true? My PS3 is in my bedroom, and it's not the largest space in which to move freely. It's no Gahiggidy's lair, but still kinda small.
tribal24 said:like how do i caliberate the shoot demo? everyone saying it has good controls but shit is sluggish to me
gofreak said:First time I calibrated it it felt awful. Sluggish like you say...actually, sluggish in one direction and fast in another. It was weird.
I got it right the second time. I guess the only advice I could give is to not over-point. Point toward the target, but I think the more subtle you make that pointing, the more fluid/responsive a cursor you'll get, as it'll then register a smaller motion to get to the top left or bottom right corners.
tribal24 said:isnt there supposed to be a reticule there ? or is it a imaginary pointer?
Animator said:I am looking forward to hearing you guys reaction when you are putting the last piece on a tower you have been building for 40 minutes and it all tumbles down.
:lol

I'm a bit on the fence on this one, the thing that bothers me the most is how well it would work with a projector. Does the light from the projector interfere with the move camera and is the camera supposed to be placed under or over the screen? Is there some kind of minimum distance between the controller and the camera?

Man said:Anyone tried Hustle King yet (assuming Move patch is out) ?
reminder said:Yes, it's quite hard with Move, or i just suck at it :lol But of course it's more realistic. Have to give it another try soon.
Any High Velocity Bowling impressions, anyone?
Alx said:I think that in most situations, it will turn to a color with high contrast with the background. So you can paint your whole living room in pink and it will choose another color for the ball.![]()
Dizzy said:So it turns out there is already a charging dock for the move + navigation controller. What a lifesaver. Only £12.91 on the Asda website.
NinjaFusion said:is that for the official sony one?
The sony one looks AWESOME>
It's only £17.99 at amazon, does look better but a charger is a charger so I think I'll stick with the cheap one.supermackem said:Nah the official one is twice the price.
