It's 1GB, just for saves. If the game have a patch you still need a memory card.

Oh. Doesn't really make a difference then. In all seriousness I would actually buy another model of the Vita that had a decent amount of on board memory. Anything to take a decent load off my memory card.

Age of Zombies, aw yisss.

And I tweeted Halfbrick last week asking for an ETA for the US version and got a "nothing yet, but stay tuned!", ha!

I feel quite bad for not playing a game all of a sudden. I load up my Vita, realise it was loading flower and exit right away as a trophy
that says welcome back
pops-up. Sorry flower, I reckon it's P4G time again. Let's see how the combat opens up after the first 4 hours. Took a break so I can be ready to absorb it all...oO

Was cleaning out the living room and found that $10 voucher that came with my PS4. Yay. I guess I really can do a tiny bit of shopping this week.

I'd like to play some multiplayer SS but I am only level 20/50 :/

As long as you know what you're doing and have good offerings, you should be fine to play in a group like ours, I'd think.

Agent was eventually a 50/50 -- so if you ended up like him, you'd still have similar damage output (but lower life), etc.

"Only level 20/50." I'm 25/15 currently. How are you guys leveling up quickly? Playing a lot low level multiplayer or just reliving older pacts?
If you finished the story, you should do the avalons pacts. By doing just all those should get you to that level if not 100.

Well, I am playing Soul Sacrifice for nearly a month. I don't relieve older pacts, I have just really beaten the Avalon Pacts from I to VI and the main story, plus the "Fellow Sorcerers" DLC (except for the last one, actually... I am still a little bit weak to beat Wraith). Besides that, I spent some time sacrificing monsters in one of that "pick 5x soul shards" pacts. Got more or less 5 levels there.

Oh, I see. I am not sure if I know what I am doing tho, since I never played it online. Are there any specific rules I should follow?

I've been having issues with
Illecebra (Archfiend)
so I haven't played in a while. I thought it was because I was under leveled but it looks like I just need to play better. I've only finished the first Avalon pact with the second one almost done so I should try and finish up the ones I can do.

Because they would need to implement some kind of file management elsewise, which isn't worth it for the included 1 GB.

So you give someone a 1 GB extra that is almost practically useless for anything especially if you go digital or becomes a PS+ member, but if the user wants to get say a 32GB card hahahaha silly him to expect that that 1 GB can be used as additional space so that he can enjoy 33GB---noooo, he can't have both of that no sirreeeee.

Geezzzz.

The 12GB PS3 does the same thing. Once you stick a hard drive into it, the internal flash storage becomes unusable.

The PS3 and Vita operating systems are designed around the assumption of having a single filesystem for managed content. There is no concept of multiple storage management like on the Xbox 360 (and I assume the Xbone too).

Would anyone consider being my friend on PSN? I don't have any PSN friends because well, I barely use my PS3. However, I do use my vita all the time.

I keep Near on but it's largely useless. I've never had anyone try to be my friend through Near.

I have been reading VitaGAF for over a year now and have always lurked. I did finally attain membership status and posted once in VitaGAF a few months back. Then I went back to lurking hehe.

So, anyone? I'm currently playing mostly KZM online. It sure is a lot of fun and I would love to play it with a pal.

The games that I currently own are:

Soul Sacrifice
Killzone Mercenary
Tearaway
Persona 4 Golden
Ys: Memories of Celceta
Spelunky
Allundra
Super Stardust Delta
Ultimate Ghosts N' Goblins
All the PS+ freebies going back over a year

As you can tell, I've got great taste! Ignore any FFXIII and FFXIII-2 near-platinum trophies you may see on my profile, all of the shameful credit goes to my sister.

PSN name is Marion_Walters43

I have tons of fun playing it. Monster hunting games aren't for everyone tho.

@Schwartzwold: Add me if you want: Braixzen.

They just included the 1 GB so you could use the Vita out of the box. It just sucks for casuals when you can't use your new gadget without an additional purchase right away and even big ass reclaimer stickers won't stop people from having such a bad experience.
Just imagine a kid getting a new Vita for the holidays and he can't play it because the parents didn't know he needs a memory card.

There is no deyning that to really use a Vita, you need more memory space but the 1 GB doesn't serve any other purpose. And while it sucks that you can't use the additional 1 GB when you use a card, it isn't that big of a difference. I can imagine that having to deal with patches and saves across different memory devices would be much more of an hassle, losing 1 GB isn't that bad.
Sony should spend their Vita OS ressources on more important stuff anyway.

So, January Plus is granting Bioshock Infinite, DmC and Don't Starve (PS4) for free? I'm seeing conflicting info everywhere.

Play the demo. It's pretty much an accurate representation of what the full game is like.

Yes, for North America. The info is all in the OP.

Question for those with Vita JPN PSN experience.

I currently have a US Vita set-up with a US PSN account. I don't like the hassle of switching to a JPN PSN, so I'm planning to pick up another Vita just to handle the JPN PSN account. Is there any benefit in buying a JPN Vita for this, or will I have an identical experience picking up another US Vita?

All Vita models except for VitaTV are region-free. The only difference between Japanese and US Vitas are the flipped X/O buttons for the UI. You'll be fine with another US Vita.

I've played more Ass Creed 4 on my vita than on PS4. Only thing that's tough is using mortars but I've gotten by just fine without it.

Do you guys use a screen protector on your vita? And what other peripherals.

Is a 16 GB card enough? That's the largest on Amazon.

The only peripherals I use are a decent set of headphones.
I can't stand screen protectors but thats also the reason why my Vita gas some nasty scratches. The display scratches way too easily compared to other mobile devices. The only thing Sony really cheaped out with their build quality is going with such a soft plastic layer.

Personally, I don't need any grips, I can use the Vita fine. 16 GB are enough if you just occasionally go digital on games. If you want to have more games available with a fingertouch you should consider getting a bigger card.

welp... only realized you were talking about season 2 AFTER i clicked the spoiler. :/

Pretty sure he is talking about season 1 because there is only one episode released from season 2.
I even know which part he is talking of, fits right in to season 1.

But yes, I also forgot that you now can read PS3/PS4 spoiler in this thread. Good to be reminded.

Well good news, my PS3 is not dead!

Bad news, my ASUS monitor seems to have developed a prejudice against SONY. Everything works on it except PS3s.

Either way, that spoiler could have been formatted better. We wouldn't have known it was related to S1E4 unless we actually clicked/highlighted it.

I seriously am blown away from Muramasa Rebirth. I've almost completed both scenerios but I love it so much I'm going to go for platinum, it's turning into one of my favorite action games of all time.
I haven't tried the PS3 demo but I know the final PS3 version has dual audio so I think this might just be a case of Namco Bandai showing off the Japanese audio rather than the dub in their trailers/media/marketing, they did this with some Ultimate Tenkaichi stuff aswell.

We'll find out soon anyway.
16 gb is enough til it no longer becomes enough and then it eats away at you and the 32/64 lust begins.
And thus the cycle repeats (when a bigger storage size card releases)
