As much as I love this sale, am I insane for wanting a sale on the Atelier games? Will that ever happen?
I want them to go on sale in EU :/

Between Tales of Graces f on EU PSN and Tales of Xillia on US PSN, Xillia is the much better AND cheaper choice? Did anyone play both and can say which of both is worth playing?
Also: Stupid region locked VIta D:
for those who prefer to live in this thread....
Holy crap in a Pita. Some of those are really good.
I'm tempted by $9 Killzone: Mercenary but not sure I want to get rid of my card since it's saving me 3.1gb or so... :
There's some really good deals in there if you don't already own everything like some of us... MGSW, Velocity Ultra Vita, Spelunky, etc.
However, other than the Killzone digital temptation, I think there's nothing for me... again.
Thomas was Alone is a consideration, but I have that on my PC now, so I don't know why I'd double dip. And EU PS+ got it for free, so I'm still on boycott for that as an NA PS+ customer.
If Runner 2 was for Vita, that I might double dip on... but it's not.
NEED MORE JAPANEEESEEE GAMES IN MY VITAAAAAAA.
Thanks for the detailed reply, I think I'll just get Xillia. These games are so long and I rarely even play them AND I still have an unplyed copy of Vesperia here..Storywise Xillia is better. The story is solid in the game (although a little rushed in the end, like most Tales of games) and, on the other hand, Graces story is crap (and the epilogue is like fanfic made by a fujoshi / fangirl)
Gameplay wise Graces f is like the most awesome 3D battle system in the franchise. Xillia boss fights are mostly mediocre and the system is basically Tales of Vesperia + Link system + You can change party members in battle.
The link system enables a special skill for the AI partners (steal, magic protection, stun...) and allows some combined arts.
Overall, not buying Xillia for 10$ is a crime. It's a solid 7-8 game and outside some bosses fights are enjoyable. The story is pretty good, characters are decent and the pacing is above the average Tales of game. And with Xillia 2 coming to the West next year (and feauturing which people think is the best and most mature story in the series) I think it's a no brainer

For people that has bought the games. Why there aren't strategy shortcuts like in Vesperia? I mean, in that game you could save 4 different strategies and change between them whenever you wanted. It was miles faster and confortable than changing everything manually...

$9 for Killzone... Amazing price.
So seeing that Crysis 3 deal, Im wondering how are the player numbers now. Loved Hunter Mode when i was on the beta but I dont wanna buy this game knowing no one on PS3 is playing it online. To Crysis 3 PS3 owners, how active is the multiplayer as of today?

Bioshock Infinite confirmed for PS+ NA tomorrow

Any comment on which game has better characters and better side quests/ additional content? I care less about overall plot than about interesting characters.
If I had to guess, I'd think it's dead.
This might liven it up a little, but I don't think it will resurrect it.
So Lone Survivor, Thomas was Alone and Stealth Inc, which one is the best?
Gotta grab Peace Walker, PJ Monsters and Limbo for sure.
DAT PS 14 sale!! Grab them now!!
It's criminal not to get Puppeteer, KZM and Tales at those prices!!
Has there been any word on the Vita 2k for release anywhere else, I am thinking of scooping a couple of those 14 for 14 and got to wondering if that 1gb internal would hold me over for a bit.
It seems my Internet connection didn't sent my answer to this last question, but since it's you, I'll rewrite it![]()
Tales of Xillia has better characters, Graces characters go from meh, to atrocious (there is only a good character, which is a girl that they use for most jokes). About additional content and sidequests. Both are pretty straight forward with sidequests. There is a log, they give you instructions, you fullfil the request. The end game content is miles better in Graces, in Xillia is pretty barebones. The former has a better coloseum, a longer post-game dungeon and some other stuff.
Overall, I think Xillia is a good option for starters and Graces is more for Tales of fans, since the story / characters / presentation is quite worse.
But... what?! You have a sealed copy of Vesperia and you haven't played it? Spent those 10$ and buy Xillia, but you need to play Vesperia ASAP! It's like my favorite 360 game (and my favorite 7th gen JRPG, since Persona 4 is 6th/8th). Great game with and amazing cast of characters, the battle system is a little easier than Xillia / Graces. It's more traditional in some ways (fixed camera, traditional overworld, no quest log like in Xillia/Graces) but it's a really awesome game. My entry point in the franchise and my favorite so far.
Much appreciated! Vesperia is the only game I still have for the 360 and the console is not even set up, so I always put off playing it.It's definitely on the list of games to play sooner rather than later. I'm currently actually occupied with Persona 4 Golden though (mid September) so I don't know when I'll get to it. Xillia will just get added to my backlog/collection for now.
Hey guys, I'm new to PSN/Sony, my brother just got a PS4. Is there an equivalent blogger/tweeter to Major Nelson at Sony that I can follow to get updates on new releases and the such?
It's not a single person, but the main source of information is the Playstation Blog

Is Katamari really that bad? I was considering finally checking it out.
EU PSN has been having a sale for the past 3-ish weeks, and before that you had your 12 days of X-mas sales which had some decent deals.
THERE IS ALREADY A SALE ON EU PSN
Sorry if this came off rude, but come on brah, doesn't hurt to lurk EU PSN webstore every thursday...
