My purchases on the Vita , costed me only 75 $ .

If I'm not wrong, the only thing that you lost from playing Meruru first is that you spoiled the ending of Totori. Other than that, I don't remember there is any handicap from playing it first.

I see. Thanks for the info.
I am busy with other games at the moment anyway, so I'll hope for a Totori Plus sale or a Rorona Vita release in the meantime.

Reerring to FFX Remake,
Im anxious to buy the NA version of this game, it looks and plays nice on Vita so im buying the portable version no doubt about it. What about you guys?
I am also very excited for the Vita version. From Persona, to other FF's, playing RPGs portable is about the only way I can play them now..

Is this the new monthly Vita thread?

If so...Has anyone played Ragnarok Odyssey ACE? How does it vary from the first? Is it more RPG oriented or just more of the same?

This is the monthly PSN thread that seems to only be populated by former VitaGAF.

At some point this thread will probably also be about PS4, presumably.

I found Ico & SotC HD Collection for the equivalent of $17 but when the clerk scanned it, he said it had the wrong price.

Paid less than $1.

Sadly it was also the last copy, could have hooked up some friends and GAF.

The USB cable is part of my camera, so I never have to look for it. :-)

You can set up wireless transfer to your PC. It's fast, easy, and it's extremely convenient. I used to use the Flickr app on Vita, but I like the freedom of being able to upload wherever, so this way is fantastic.

You sir, got one helluva deal. I got them both free from Plus, but I'd love to have the physical disc as well.

The only reason I'd ever get a Vita Grip is if they could somehow build in extra triggers for Remote Play.

Come on you crazy engineers make it work!

I have $10 on the PSN Store burning a hole in my pocket for my Vita. Any suggestions on PSP games for that price? Looking mainly at PSP games since I missed out on that console and I know there are some gems on there.

What I have so far
Jeanne D'arc
Darkstalkers Chronicles
Power Stone Collection
MGS Snake Eater
Spelunky
Castlevania SOTN
Velocity Ultra

Mainly looking at RPGs and SRPGs. Have my eye on FFT but the slowdown talk kinda bums me out.

Thoughts my Vitabros?

EU or NA?
In NA, Darkstalkers sometimes goes on sale for $5. So does Power Stone.
Also in NA, with the current sale, you can get Velocity + Spelunky for <$6.
If you're in EU and had a PSN account in May of 2013, put on your shaming hat because Velocity was a PS+ freebie. :P

But if you like challenging platformers, get Spelunky. The game pretty much has perfectly endless replayability.
Velocity Ultra is a good time for $2 in the US... at that price, I can't help be recommend it, even if NA got screwed out of it being a PS+ game (and even if it's buggy in some spots).

NA sorry if I wasn't clear in my post but that list is the games I do have :)

just picked up let us cling together and front mission 3...the visuals on fm3 are definitely showing their age, but there is a ton of customization options, a little light on the strategy aspects. LUCT, however, feels crisp and the presentation is cinema-like. loving that game thus far.

see someone on the train playing God Eater (2)? He owns a White Vita with a Miku (?) skin I think. (white based with Blue and black lines running over)

The Vita lives

Riviera: The Promised Land. It's an "upsacled" port of a GBA strategy/rpg game. I never played it, but my friend did, and it looked reallly cool. I've heard iffy things about the PSP port, but, it's 5 clams~! It's different than traditional games like it though, in terms of battle, and world exploration, so I'd recommend checking out some reviews & videos to ensure it's the right fit for you.

Ah, ok, my bad, I just kind of glossed over that as it looked like a list of games you were considering picking up.

I don't know a lot about the JRPGs on Vita, but there's a ton of Atlus games... I've managed to pick up a relatively unhealthy # of them when they've been on sale. Some are SRPG, some JRPG, etc... but they were all a decent price and looked like they'd be fun someday. :lol

Hexyz Force
Crimson Gem Saga
Knights of the Nightmare
Persona 3 Portable
Final Fantasy IV: Complete
Yggdra Union
Gungnir

Was talking to a "gamer" friend of mine last night and we started talking about Nintendo a bit -- and he said that he was told to watch Nintendo for their handhelds because they're <list of stuff> and that I was the only person he knew that owned a Vita.
Yeah, that sounds about right...

Yes, but it's hard to find these days, because it's not in production anymore, I think.

I've seen 2-3 at Fnac the other day (Spain, Alicante). Or they have plenty of stock or they are still getting them. Still, if I buy a grip, it'll be one of those PDP ones. They look a lot nicer (imo) but they are only sold by amazon

Has anyone with LBP Vita played any of the DLC levels? If so, are they worth playing? I played through the game right when it first came out and then got rid of it, but the combination of Marvel and DC DLC levels is making me want to get the game again...I'm just curious if they're good enough to justify buying the game again.

Wait, is P3P currently on sale?

Depends on the country then, the PDP does indeed look nicer.

Yay! I'm from Europe so it's cool. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that since the 3.00 update, MGS has a sound issue (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=740449), so that's a bit of a bummer.

i always wanted to play Tactics Ogre but it's still $20 -_-

too many other games to play to justify adding to the ol backlog

I know this isn't the Vita GAF anymore but:

I'm buying a 3DS these days. Just wanted to share with you guys. :)

I'll keep my Vita for whatever is coming on 2014 and beyond.

I'm in the exact same boat. Would really love to play an SRPG (have only played the new X-Com) but dropping $20 right now would be silly given all the other games I have available.

People are going to get sick of me beating the same drum, but have you played Patapon 2? I would absolutely recommend that game. Strategy/Rpg/Rhythm, and $6 on the NA store. Best in the series in my opinion. That game can be suuuuuper deep if you want it to be.

i dont get why prices are so high still for older games.

I'm worried that since it's an older PSP title, it won't see frequent discounts like the more current games do.

Side question for Soul SacrifiGAF, I'm playing a defensive build, and always seem to have the same set-up going into each mission. 4 attacks based on the enemies weakness, a healing spell, and the bracelet that matches their element. Will this formula need to change or is it always going to be similar to this setup?
