Anymore word on trophies coming to PS Mobile? I won't lie, I'd buy PS Mobile games if they had trophies. Shameful, but I'm just telling the truth.

I won't lie. I'd buy a PS Mobile games if they actually expanded market beyond those initial 15 or so countries :D

It really is pathetic after more than year.

I just finished Ellie's gameplay. I assume that's the only gameplay she gets anyway. Killed the guy that wanted to rape her. The entirety of the Ellie gameplay section of the game was just amazing. I mean that both in terms of the actual gameplay and the story. Mostly the story. Couldn't put the game down until it was done. It was so tense and exciting the entire time. I was actually expecting Joel to make the save at the end but I think the way they did it was much better. It was a big holy shit moment at the end. Oh man I love this game. A naughty dog game that actually lives up to the hype. Feels strange.

winter. Killing the guy that wanted to rape Ellie was literally the last thing I did. And yeah you weren't lying. The story get pretty amazing once it gets going. I take it since you're questioning whether I'm done with the game that this means the game doesn't have much more to go?
 
Should there be a thread to discuss the TOukiden demo?
Keep in mind that the full game is far better than what the JP demo provided assuming we're getting the same demo.

You said that
you couldn't put the game done until you were done. I wasn't sure if you meant with Winter or the whole game. Winter was hands down my favorite part of the game. Playing as Ellie with her knife was amazing. It really caught me by surprise because pre release ND said that you wouldn't play as Ellie. BTW if you don't know who voice acted David pay attention to the credits once you beat the game :)

I meant
done with this particular part of the story. I just had to know how Ellie was going to escape, what was going to happen to David, if Joel would recover to help her and how the two would be reunited. Yeah it's easily my favourite part of the game so far too. It's quite funny because yesterday I was playing and when Joel got injured I was like "Do I get to play as Ellie now?!", but I didn't. I was pretty disappointed I was controlling an injured Joel in that section watching Ellie clean house when I wanted to actually play as Ellie. I had to switch the game off at that point. Then I start playing again this morning and my wish is fullfilled! She was so fun to play as. The Left Behind DLC is apparantly Ellie focused so I'm hoping we get a decent amount of Ellie gameplay there.

New games this week:
  • Lucifer Ring (PS3/PSP/PSV) - This is a PS1 import that claims to be a beat-em-up. Here is a Youtube video of the game that was posted just a few days ago. Frankly, I'm not interested.
  • OlliOlli (PSV) - This looks like tons of fun. They posted a trailer of it on the blog. Mike Rose (colleague at Gamasutra) has a quote in the video calling it your next essential PSV game.
That's it. Y'all seem interested in the Toukiden demo, so ok that too.

Come on, Sony and partners -- more PS4 stuff please! I'd like more tables for Pinball Arcade.

Also still waiting on TxK for PSV.
 
Theres also a super secret demo coming out on the store this week that they weren't allowed to talk about on the blogcast.

Guess we'll find out what it is tomorrow.

I'm not a Dragonball Z fan in any way, shape, or form, but I downloaded the demo just to download something new on my Vita, and was pleasantly surprised with how much fun I was having just beating shit up and flying around.

I think I've seen a total of 4 or 5 DBZ episodes thanks to two friends who are diehard fans in their attempt to win me to the series, but it didn't woo me. I remember watching the original Dragonball cartoon, with young Goku, and really enjoying it, but I always thought Z was absurdly stupid. This game has piqued my interest in maybe checking out some of the better story arcs, though.

Well, they did just have the "14 for 14" sale that wraps up tomorrow, I think. But I think that's only in the US. Maybe the sale is coming to the EU as well? I have no idea if you are in the EU or not.
 
Can I buy games on a web browser? Im on a trip and I dont have my ps3 here
 
I've been Remote Playing Don't Starve the entire football day so far. It's glorious. And if I get bored, I can just Suspend and play EDF and it's still there ready to be resumed. Sony got it right. Now to get that latency down further with some hardware revisions.

Finally started up Don't Starve today. I'm not usually into crafting games, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Just wish the text was a bit bigger.

That's a great haul! I already own Soul Sacrifice, Limbo and Killzone. All I bought was Velocity HD.
