I can't believe the price of OlliOlli. Maybe I'm wrong about it, but it looks like a PSMobile game to me. And the DBZ game is ridiculously priced to be including in this promo... holy crap... usually they're games that are $15 and under with a discount. Crikey.

I'll probably pick up Dustforce and TxK at best.

Good job. They're teaching you how to advanced combat for the first form of the final boss. ;)
Although with the final boss, it's easier to avoid and get the right spacing... you'll see what I mean.
 
Hmm, might get Kickbeat while it's on sale. I played the demo and it was kinda annoying difficult (and I LOVE rhythm games), but for $3 I'll bite.

Good job. They're teaching you how to advanced combat for the first form of the final boss. ;)

I'm wrapping Assignments so I'll be free tonight and also tomorrow too since I don't have class. But tomorrow I'll be playing Toukiden since it has online.

Well I finished The Last of Us. Awesome game

At the very least the ending has me very hungry for the sequel. I'm pretty sure I hate Joel at this point. He just kept on doing things I didn't want! I was the player and the person driving the story forward. But I sure as hell wasn't Joel. as didn't agree with many of his actions throughout the course of the game, and the ending in particular. I actually expected Ellie to die. I had a feeling the game was building up to it for some reason. I'm very glad this didn't happen as I really like Ellie and really wanted her to live. But not like this. Not like this. The world isn't saved and so many people have died and are going to die as a result of Joel's actions.

I think it's all summed up with the part in the operating room. The doctor is standing in front of my blocking my path to Ellie. I want to get to Ellie and save her, but I don't want to harm the doctors in the process. I try raising my gun in the hopes the doctor will move. Then I try moving forwards and shoving him out of the way.....which then triggers an automated sequence where Joel stabs him. I didn't want to do that, but clearly Joel is not me. The murderer in the gameplay is the same man as in the actual story. No murderer in gameplay but all round good guy in the story here. It wasn't really until the final few hours that I began to see that. I was practically begging Joel not to kill Marlene. Then the lie he told Ellie. Oh man. Again, he did something I didn't want. I was hoping he would just come clean to Ellie. I feel like Ellie knew he was lying anyway, and I just wanted Joel to come clean about it.

I hope the sequel follows on from this point but this time the story is told from Ellie's perspective rather than Joel's. Ellie will no doubt discover the truth at some point and I want to see Ellie make the decision herself about what to do about it. I do wonder if she knew she had to die for the cure whether she would have sacrificed herself or not. When she finds out is that what's going to happen? Is the world ever going to be saved? What happens to Joel and Ellie's relationship from here? I'm super hungry to find out in a sequel. Man this ending is going to keep me awake tonight. I can't stop thinking about it. Jesus christ this game.

Oh yeah and I can't believe David was Nolan North! He has so much range as a voice actor and it just makes me wonder why the hell he puts on the Drake voice in so many games.
 
Welp. After much procrastination, I did my big 14 for 14 purchase. Thomas Was Alone, Rain, Puppeteer, Pool Nation, Far Cry Blood Dragon (first Far Cry game ever, woooo), Thrillzone, Stealth Inc, and Peace Walker. 42 smackers.

to love
PS Plus.
 
Beat Guacamelee those final battles were a bitch. On to Spelunky, Killzone Mercs, and/or Black Ops. My vita is getting a lot of love right now.

The pace is not like MH at all. And SS is no where close to MH, besides being in a monster-hunting genre. where people are getting the 'similarities'??

Where exactly did I say SS was similar to MH? In fact I insinuated the opposite.

All I said was that Toukiden is far more derivative of MH than SS. That's a fact.

I'm always surprised at all the MH haters in Vita gaf. Something tells me that if it wasn't a Nintendo exclusive at the moment things would be different.
 
Is Sly Cooper for Vita a good game? I got $10 from Sony Rewards today and am thinking of purchasing from the sale. I already got Peace Walker and Killzone Merc from the sale.

Obviously, then there would be more people who would buy the Vita for MH. The hardcore MH fans probably all moved onto 3DS. I don't understand why people find this surprising.

You're right, I'm just not used to the whole fan base thing since I've always come and gone between systems and never stuck to just one :)

I liked it a lot. Its a nice return to some old school 3d platforming. The worlds are huge and there's lots to explore, the characters are surprisingly likeable (although Bentley gets kinda annoying).

Only criticisms I have against it is some repetitive missions and a few bad frame rate drops. The game is mostly consistent frame rate wise though so it isnt too bad.

Some things pisses me off. But I usually talk like that in real life too, so don't worry too much. :)

Another reason why that logic was bad: I have a PSP. In fact, many of the "haters" owned one. I dunno if they played it though, for more than 20 hours. Even bought a dongle for XLink Kai.

I get that you disagree with me and I'm not out to falsify your opinion or anything. All I was doing was stating something that I felt.

Having a friendly and open community is far better than having one where people go off at you for a single comment.
