Someone mentioned a Persona sale is coming next week - is this listed somewhere? I'm making my way through Persona 4 Golden now and probably will pick up Persona 3 (FES or Portable?! I haven't decided yet.)

Personal opinion is P3P and watch the story bits of FES on YouTube. You will find people who will recommend FES and others who recommend P3P.

Just finally finished Persona 4 Golden (93 hours lol).

A bit too long with content spread too thin in the end, battles/dungeon become entirely meaningless and broken once you have certain Persona/Skill combonations (
Yoshitsune with Auto-Mataru + Auto-Masuku + Hassou Tobi won 90% of all batlles for me in the end
), but still one of the finest dating simulators ever made.

Gonna go for the plat at some point, but not right now.

You call that a Yoshitsune? This is a Yoshitsune :p

Those game breaking resistances.

Sure, you can always break it more and I would have LOVED to make some insane uber-persona, there was just no need for it :( Auto-Buff skills are way better for grinding through the dungeons and since nothing has time to hurt you, why bother? Bosses were a joke too.
Yep, Golden was even easier than Vanilla for a multitude of reasons. Pretty much only fuse stuff like that in Golden for fun and even then they're too easy to fuse since you can pick and choose skills to pass down.

Persona 3 was significantly more interesting in that regard. Fusing Persona for the optional boss fight in that is a pain in the ass and you need some super specific setups to even stand a chance.

I do hope Persona 5 brings back some of the challenge from the earlier Persona titles and the SMT series,

The bolded is how it should be!

Dude WTF is that Persona literally invincible?

Almighty damage or Fear + Ghastly Wail should still be able to kill it.
Other than that, can't think of any weaknesses.

Streaming PS1 games makes no sense to me. They're not hard to emulate.

But porting their PS1 emulator to the PS4 is not some trivial effort that can be done instantly, while doing it on PS Now immediately makes it available to any PS Now supported device (which includes more than just PS3/4/V platforms).

Not trying to defend Sony here, just explaining how it's the more logical course of action business-wise. Ideally the PS4 should also have a local PS1 emulator, but with PS Now launching soon it would be a counter-productive use of engineering resources.

Not for those who lack a fast enough internet connection to stream games.

The game's art style is really something else.

However I have no clue what Im looking at, I saw he was using the camera to customize his character to look like him, and then it turned into some strange ritual where you have a baby with a furry and then turn based RPG battles.

It a mechanic of the game. Due to a curse your character has a short lifespan and will die. Sort like Conception 2, you will conceive a baby with a god/deity in which will be the next playable mc. It repeat for several generation.

No Im not making it up.

I was sad that the gay god can't mate with a male in OreShika. (
Coz that also means I can't do the counterpart, LOL

Yeah. Some of the gods looks absolutely ridiculous enough that having a partner regardless of it sex shouldnt even shouldn't even matter at this point.

I was watching another gameplay video and I think he mated with a snowman with a lobster on it's head.

Alright guys. I want a Platinum. Persona 4 Golden or Tearaway first?

I'm mid-way through my second P4G playthrough during Summer. I can cancel it straight up and go for a Platinum run if need be. If P4G, I need someone to redirect me to the definitive guide.

And if Tearaway... Maybe I'll do Tearaway during P4G...

Can someone find me the Platinum guide for P4G? I can only find GameFAQs and some vague ones.

Do Tearaway because it's faster.
Fuck the P4G platinum. I love you Rise, but I don't need to hear EVERYTHING you say during battle.

Yeah P4G seems like it would be annoying to get Hardcore Risette Fan. I wanted to plat P4G but that trophy seems like the worst idea ever. I don't mind doing everything else 100% but that is just excessive.

Tearaway seems easier. There are guides for presents and things. I haven't beaten the game yet myself but the only ones that appear tricky are beating levels without dying.

I got that trophy on my first run through. Completely not on purpose either. I pressed scanned all the time and switched out characters just so I could hear the battle lines. I didn't even know there was a trophy for it. It really helps if you're actually a

I downloaded Final Fantasy VII on Vita, I am only about 20 minutes in and I am stuck in the first Maku reactor after I just set the bomb. I can't seem to make it back to the surface, I am able to get the place where I help a girl who is stuck, but it won't let me climb the ladder out.

Got it in my first playthrough. It's easy to get if you keep your party around the same levels (with mean using different party combinations) and use different skills. It wasn't hard. And I think New Game+ keeps the lines you've already heard. It's not that hard, seriously.

Are you playing the PAL version it's on sale for 5€? How is it? I remember playing VIII in PAL and I have no problem with it. And I only have a 16gb mem card, so it's not as if I can change to a US account.

Do you know if there is something like a "perfect playthrough" for Tearaway? I almost finished every area in the game, but there are 2 of t hem when I need to get a piece of confetti (only one...).

The diagonal ladder? Very weird. Never heard of a glitch like that

First time playing FFVII?

I got it during my first playthrough also. I grinded a little more than needed. So I got it long before beating the game.

I'm only 6-7 trophies away from the plat. It's by the numbers though. The trophies I have left were the ones that can only be obtained during NG+. So it should be fairly easy.

I got FFVIII in the EU sales. For some reason the menu's occasionally stop processing input. I have to tab out the game and go back in. Is this a game bug or OS bug? Anyone else got it?

Question - I wanna get in on the Sony Rewards bonus points for buying a year of PS+ but the offer expires 2/28 and my current PS+ sub doesn't end till June or July. If I were to subscribe to PS+ now through the Sony Store, does it just tack on automatically once my current sub ends?
