Sucks that more FF titles aren't going on sale, but I will be buying IX. Haven't played it in over a decade. Time to be reacquainted.

How do you know FF6-8 won't be on sale? The list only showed games on sale with a Plus discount, maybe 6-8 will be on sale for $6 each?
Or not =V

does Smart As deserve a spot on my 32?

I bought it for $13 last year and enjoyed it for a few weeks, so def. give it a try. It's also one of the best looking Vita games despite its simple presentation.

thanks for the feedback! good to hear.

It's a pretty bad Brain Age variant. John Cleese being the narrator makes it worth playing for like an hour

thanks - sounds like i shouldn't go out of my way to make room for it, will put on if i have the space (which i don't think i do), needing that 64 ;___;

My brother messaged me to get FF5, gonna pick it up when it goes on sale, at least so he may play it on the Vita if he ever gets the chance =V

To elaborate it runs on EU3 but looked like it was 60 FPS to me, and I really liked the colors and how they popped up in the game.

Quick question: When playing spelunky, I noticed every time I put my vita to sleep then resume, I get a message about the connection to psn being lost and my scores won't save to the leaderboards. I have to manually close spelunky and then relaunch to bypass this, which kind of defeats the purpose of sleeping.

There is a similar issue with the psn store where it won't let me access my downloads list unless I relaunch the app if it was previously suspended.

Is there something I am doing wrong here?

Mine does this too when I'm playing Hotline Miami, although my Vita gives me the option to reconnect to PSN (or at least I thought it did).

Well, apparently Grace Chen felt like being consistent for a few months.
Let's see when it's up today...
I only said it was consistent. Doesn't mean she won't be late from time to time :P

Didn't the update occur earlier last Tuesday?
Well the store starts updating in chunks early in the day, but it normally isn't 100% done until around 2 when they upload a post on the playstation blog

Last weeks update was at around 2

Ok so I picked up Dissidia 012 after the praise it received in this thread. Now as I understand it, it contains the first game. Am I meant to be a little bewildered at the start? The first quest is 012: Treachery of the Gods, and all the characters are talking like I should know what's going on. I did watch the intro and kind of get the gist. Am I starting at the right point? Will all be revealed as I continue to play?

I can't remember since I pretty much ignored the Dissidia parts (I migrated my saves) but if there's the new characters (Yuuna, Laguna, Lightning, etc), then you're already in 012. The original 20 "main characters and villains" from FF I to FF X should be the only guys you see in the first game.

Gabranth and Shantoto are post-game-ish IIRC.

Dissidia 012's story is a prequel to the first one. You unlock the first one by beating the main story of 012.

No not yet the slowdown is what holds me from it but watching videos online it doesn't seem to bad. For 5 bucks I guess it doesn't break the deal at all.

Yeah the slowdown was a bit annoying (did they seriously never address this?), but luckily, I don't think it affected the move "Accumulate" :P So all is well. The story, music, and art style are absolutely amazing.

I wish Dissidia 012 was not a prequel. They should have been more ambitious and made a new story/setting (and obviously more "balance" in char. number for each entry.)

Dissidia was obviously made as a one-off in terms of story, so the whole thing felt off to me. :/

Very tempted by DBZ. Between the plus discount and the Play 2014 promotion I'd be getting a pretty sweet deal. I liked the demo well enough and I'm gonna buy the rest of the Play games anyway. I think I'll do it!

So what's up with the store on PS3? It's been down for maintenance for a while now.

Also is XIII-2 worth the $9.99?
It is. But then again I liked XIII, and XIII-2 a bit more.

You'll probably want to add another $2.99 for Requiem of the Goddess, though. SE was kind enough to put the last half of the ending in a DLC, so it's more or less not optional.
