Sony is an entertainment giant. Using PSN as a distribution platform for original content from their own studios is a smart move and hopefully works out.

Hopefully they get around to putting Married With Children on PSN too.

That's just ignorance as far as Sony is concerned. Sony for better and worse, financially, has their hands in a lot of media you experience day in and day out.

Maybe you should check out what Kaz is attempting to restructure.

Why not? I don't see how more good tv shows can ever be considered a bad thing.

Apparently it's been in the making for a while. Hopefully it's a faithful adaptation of the comic series. Once again the non-Americans get a short end of the stick when it comes to non-gaming entertainment on the consoles. I wish they'd release it here through PSN as well, as it'll most likely take ages to reach here via the broadcasters, as usual.

The thing is, we wouldn't have go through the hassle, if they'd just put it available on the PSN. It's unbeliavable the digital rental of movies/series still isn't available here either. The European PSN store is a barren wasteland, when it comes to non-gaming entertainment.

This isn't the first time PlayStation has done this. Xam'd was first released as a PS exclusive.

Hopefully Sony releases Powers for free to PS+ subscribers but I'll understand if they don't, they're already giving us good value for the price with the IGC.

Susan Heyward Lands Female Lead In Sony Playstation Series ‘Powers’, Max Fowler & Adam Godley Also Cast

Coming off a recurring role on the Fox drama The Following, Susan Heyward has been tapped as the female lead in Powers.

Also cast in the direct-to-series project are Max Fowler (The Killing) and Adam Godley (Breaking Bad, Suits).

Krispin Stockley, the son of Walker’s murdered partner, a disaffected teen still struggling with the death of his father at the hand of a rogue Power which starts him on a dark journey that will warp him both physically and emotionally.

Eddie Izzard, Noah Taylor & Olesya Rulin To Co-Star In PlayStation Series ‘Powers’

Izzard will play Wolfe, the bogeyman of the POWERS universe — a top-level Power who has spent the last two decades incarcerated in the Shaft, his terrible abilities kept in check through a brutal regimen of surgical procedures. Before that, he was a mentor of then-up-and-coming Powers, Walker.

Taylor will play Johnny Royalle, a criminal mastermind Power with the ability to pop in and out of locations at will. He owns a cutting edge underground venue, the Here and Gone Club, that may be part of a dark and deadly conspiracy.

Rulin plays Calista, a teenage Power wannabe with street smarts, attitude and vulnerability who is always seeking out her next move.
