About Kingdom of Amalur, after struggling to download 14GB I'm just not amused by the game. The world looks great, but It's just top open and diluted. Too many fetch quest right after the beginning. I wanted to enjoyed, but I finding it really hard.

For some reason I find that doing the connection test seems to make my connection behave properly. It should have no bearing on it but it does seem to do something. Hopefully network stability is something they looked at with PS4.

I remember US getting Darksiders later on after the EU. Don't think it was month after month, but that's one that I can remember. Pretty sure it was earlier on in +'s life-cycle too.

I've been wanting to play Ico forever, and finally play SotC in HD (played it on the PS2), so I'm hoping they do that.

We got Vanquish, Sleeping dogs, and Knytt Stories a few months after they arrived on EU Plus so there's definitely a chance the ICO HD Collection will appear at some point. I just doubt it'll be June.

use cable connection. do not use wireless with the PS3. after the latest few updates, the wireless seems went down for me.

with wireless i get like 1.3M and 0.3k upload

plugged in, i get around 9 to 10 down and 1.1 up

not sure why. it took me forever to download hitman. like honestly 1 week. and then it told me the file was corrupted. i had to download it again. this time i tried with a cable plugged in. and damn man less than 1 day and i had it running

One quick question: Do the games you can play for free are only available for one month or do you have access to all previous games as well as long as you have a Plus subscription?

The latter. As long as you have a subscription, you can play any game you've obtained from the service.

They're available as long as you have Plus.

Also, if you stop being a Plus subscriber then re-subscribe, all the games you previously 'bought' will be available again.

That's my experience too. I've got both the PS3 AND the Xbox360 Ethernet connected to my router.

Devil May Bomba on there already? Fuuuuu... It's a good game though, really great title to get on Plus if true. Same month as Spec Ops too? Christ... having a big month in August in honour of Gamescom for EU + maybe?

Unit 13 and NGS+ are really good also.

EA gives a lot of titles on Plus, and it will serve as publicity for BF4. Also, since online passes are gone, a used BF3 should go by dirt cheap.
MOH:WF is 10€ here in Portugal, so that one wouldn't amaze me

No one thought Rockstar and 2K would give away a game, and yet Red Dead was a flagship title for the IGC

That's a great line-up if true, but not surprising at all considering it's EU+ we're talking about.
I think I'm one of the few people that like NA+ offerings more.

I'm leaning towards this being true.

US PS+ has already had Spec Ops: The Line, Payday and Ninja gaiden. EU has not.

BF3 would be a promo for Bf4.

But I find NLKS and DMC hard to believe, but certainly possible.

Edit: Payday 2 is also out in August.

I merely played the demo but somehow I got the feeling that Amalur is more like an offline-MMO than a normal rpg like Dragon Age.

If that leak is true for EU folks I'm going to be very happy with it despite having some of them already and finished others from that list too.

Still, I would instal BF3 on the HDD and get those Vita games. Spec Ones is nice so I could even replay it again later on.

Ratchet Deadlocked showed up on the NA web store but it's listed as "Not Available For Purchase" with a price of $9.99. Not sure how long it's been there for but didn't see it mentioned.

I'd ask if you had a Vita but considering your avatar I'd guess you do. The only Vita game there that comes anywhere close to mediocre I'd guess is When Vikings attack, and even that doesn't seem like a terrible game. As far as PS3 goes three of the four are killer AAA titles.

I assume by mediocre it's just you personally don't care for the games and not actually saying the lineup itself is mediocre?

Those months don't seem that unbelieveable when we look at some of the past month updates (most recently the June one).

As for personal preference DmC I already own and BF3 is kinda meh game imo. I dunno, I'd rather have just a lil more ''niche'' titles like indeed the Spec-Ops.

Personally June's update is worthless to me. The only game in June that might, and emphasis on might, be worthwhile to me is Coconut Dodge. I don't actually know anything about it, so yeah. I despise RPGs so obviously Demon's Souls and that other RPG in June mean nothing to me. I don't like Ico or SOTC. Well to be fair I've never played Ico. But I assume if I didn't like sotc I wouldn't like Ico. As for Rayman Origins I already have it.

So yeah, compared to June the next two months are a godsend to me if true. Especially Vita. I've been waiting for Unit 13 to be on Plus especially. I do recognise June was good if you like the games in there though. That's the great thing about Plus. Even when there's a month that isn't for me I know it's going to be good for someone else, and another month that is for me probably isn't far away.

Think magic and archery were both easy in demons souls?

It's so strange. On one hand, I want DoA 5. On the other, I wish SCEA would give us something besides fighting games. Blaz bue for vita, SHOCKING!

Maybe Dragon's Dogma next month? Final Fantasy XIII in gearing up for E3?
