Hopefully this is true and becomes something all other games follow suit with. Then loads of people can cancel their Plus subscription and Plus can go back to being special and more big publishers will feel good about giving away their games to a small userbase again.

Oh ok it was a mistake, edited.

In the Destiny demo thingy I think I was playing with silver and not gold, still got matched with other players for co-op stuff.

Dropping that requirement is always a gigantic plus.

You can play the full retail Destiny online without a sub also, but matchmaking and I think strikes and/or raids are impossible because of that.
